I've had an account on neopets.com for quite a while. It's a web-based game. Recently it's gotten much more child-oriented and now I'm looking for something else.

My favorite thing to do on the site has been buying/selling items and earning points (neopoints) to spend.

I'm not really into games based solely on fighting and skill building, and I don't have the fastest computer (though I do have high speed internet.)

Anyone have a good game recommendation for me? Thanks for the help

There is this thing called a Webkinz. . . I'd google it but I'm afraid my eyes would burn in their sockets.

Okay, I will try posting over there. Haha all the pet sites (like webkinz, club penguin) are really kid oriented so I'm trying to get away from that. Neopets, when it was first made and before it was bought be the company that owns Nickelodeon (Viacom) was originally geared towards college students. Kind of hard to believe now I know...

Well, if you like Pokemon, which is aimed at not only children, but teens and young adults as well, try out Pokemon Global, a Pokemon Game made in Java, and it seems to be the most promising pokemon game so far.
