good pc rpg or fps.

hey, all you need to know bout my laptop is 1.9ghz and 1 gig ram. the other stuff is sweet. i was a good rpg with the taste of free roaming, or a fps with a taste of free roaming and a bit of horrorish shit. like stalker, enjoyed it. finished it, the ending where u goto the REAL world and ur blind. ive also finished oblivion, like omg so bloody long!!!! i want one i can downlo...i mean buy. i know of thepiratebay were you "buy" swords and all that. i want the system requirements to meet recomended or above. i recently finished halo 1 and half life 2 episode 1. im buying half life 1 atm. so, any ideas? (ZOMBIE ONES ARE DEFFINATLY LOVED!!!! no fucking stubbs the zombie, that game sent me insane.)

They hunger is a great HL1 single player mod, Brainbread is a great zombie multiplayer mod.

i was looking at they hunger, but do i need the actually cd to play it (like, register it on steam with the cd) i thought it was hl2 thou?
