Our apologies for the forced password reset last week. We have learned that visiting user account names and passwords have been accessed by an unauthorized script and some have been offloaded to a third party website. After learning of the unauthorized script the issue was resolved and based on our analysis to date all potentially compromised accounts have been reset to prevent any potential abuses. We are unaware of any unauthorized attempt to use the compromised account information prior to the password reset. Zelus is working with our engineering team to ensure that we understand the full extent of this unauthorized access and data transmission, and seek to prevent this or a similar incursion from happening in the future.

If you are the type of user who uses your same log-in and passwords for other sites around the net, it may be in your interest to change them now. We continue to investigate who was behind this and their motivation, particularly because it appears that the information collected in this incursion was not acted upon. Depending on the results of our further forensic investigation and our engineers' recommendations, we may need to take further actions to ensure the complete security of our forum going forward. We'll provide more information when the time comes if such measures are required.

Thanks as always for your continued support of the forums, and we again apologize for the inconvenience.
