Maybe I'm getting things mixed up, but before any drug discussion at all was locked. It's not because it's against the rules (There is no rule) but it's because whenever there's a thread about drugs it always turns into a massive argument between the druggies and the other people. Let's not forget there's always going to be those people that reply to non-druggies with "don't knock it till u try it lol" which is exactly the same as saying "dood u should do drugs" or whatever in real life.
I actually thought it was the other way around; people weren't supposed to talk about drugs and their effects or 'the wicked trip' they had and whatnot (like they were discussing), but stuff like discussing legalization was political so I thought it might be cool. But discussions about drugs are not amoral... at least not generally so. I suppose that's what I'm getting at.
In the past, talking about drugs in general was frowned upon. Not a thread about drugs and their effects, but a thread in the lounge about whether or not people think drugs should be legalized, yes.
Also I'm not arguing the lock. Well, I'm not arguing anything. LOL
Hey, I was wondering what you meant in that thread about Stoners you locked, when you said The Lounge isn't a morally devoid place like everybody thinks it is. I mean, I don't want to know what you meant LITERALLY, of course :P but what I mean is that I'm curious as to why you think drugs constitute amoral discussion... But if I got it totally wrong let me know rofl
