You can play any class except Rune Keeper and Warden; they require the Mines of Moria expansion. When your creating your character, it'll give you a good run-down of what each class is suited for.
As for races, we have Hobbit, Dwarf, Elf, and Man. Some classes are race locked.

I mostly watch smaller series 12-50 eps per season, but..

Similair to bleach.. naruto.. I wouldn't know.. I didn't really like those..
