You had the right idea, but you only need one of you to choose the quest. The other needs to go to the bulletin board, and add himself to your mission.

hey Elegance, can you tell me how to do a group quest in MHF? my friend and i both picked the same quest, set it as '2' players and entered in the box below 'ourparty' and still we dont go on the same map.. even tried using the 'jump to friend' button in friend list.. no go.. tnx
