Marcus is early, he knows because the alarm hasn't rung yet and only the janitor is here, setting up. Erina had informed him that today would be a field day, and honestly he could care less. Field days are easily the easiest days at the school. He goes over to the janitor, making small talk with him until the alarm rings. When it does he disappears to the back of the room to watch the proceedings. Students file in slowly or quickly depending on how late they think they will be. Marcus spots a familiar student - he's really bad with names - and a younger student nearly getting into it. Marcus very nearly steps in bit the smaller girl runs off in fear so he does nothing.
He patiently waits for all the students to get in, sometimes moving around to break up any impending fights. These are good people but the haphazard workings of the school makes it hard for people not to argue with each other. Marcus just hopes he gets some good kids, preferably not any older ones. They are usually the hardest to handle, not wanting to listen to authority figures.

Baeya's late, she knows it. She slept two minutes past the alarm and still hasn't showered. She does so quickly, drying her hair out and braiding it quickly. She throws on a pair of jeans, a red plaid button up shirt, and a pair of black sneakers. She locks her door, not really trustful of the people in Savilla, and jogs at a steady pace to the school. She rushes in with a group of obvious chemicals, waving and smiling only at one girl she considers to be her friend, despite being a chemical. She slinks to the back of the room as usual, spotting Helena not too far away. Of all the Chemicals in this school Helena is her favorite; she doesn't flaunt her powers like others do.Baeya goes to stand by her, smiling.
"Chance Michael Cornell, get up right now!" Hady grapples to pull the sheets away from her brother, wondering how this kid could sleep through the alarm at all. He groans, tugging back just as hard. They will both be late if this continues so Hady let's go of the sheets and heads back for her own room. She roots around her closet until finding what she's looking for. She returns to Chances room with the item in her hand, putting close to her ear and pressing down on the air horn. Chance makes a startled noise and jumps, pushing the blankets away to glare at Hady.
"I'm up!" He growls, snatching away the item of discomfort. Hady smiles satisfied, going back to her own room to throw o a clean T-shirt and jeans. Allowing Chance to get dressed. She applies a tiny amount of makeup and goes back to Chance's room. He glares again, fully dressed and ready to go. He leads the way out. He barely talks to Hady as they head for the school, branching away from her the second they get inside. Chance finds a group of his own friends, the majority of them level ones, and Hady stands awkwardly alone.
Niklaus hears the alarm ring halfway through his shower. He quickly scrubs all the soap from his hair and dries off. He tosses a t-shirt and jeans on, they were on the floor and probably dirty. Niklaus sniffed them to make sure they were okay- they were. Niklaus also grabs a granola bar to snack on on the way.
He stops just before going out the door. He notices the only picture of his brother and him laying on the side table. He stuffs the picture in his jeans and hurries out. Almost everybody was almost there already and he gravitates to the middle of the crowd of people. Niklaus looks around and smiles, today will be a good day. He notices different expressions on people's faces as he smiles politely at them. Some fear, some anger, and rarely a genuine smile back.
Chris was up well before the alarm sounded, after all he was the good one. He had gotten out of his bed and seen Aydin sleeping starfished on his bed. Chris scuffed and laughed a bit. He took a shower and put on jeans and a collared worn button shirt. He grabbed a book and headed out. Savilla had a great range of space, as soon as Christopher got out of his building he went to a tree and sat to read, my moon and book light.
He had been reading for about an hour and a half before the alarm sounded, and luckily he just finished his chapter. He sprinted back to his room and put his book up and tried to wrestle his brother out of bed, turning the light on and everything. He ended up leaving him to get himself up laughing on his way to the meeting room.
Today is a special day. . . Chris new what today was, it was the first time he, Aydin, and all the other level two’s were going to be let out to see the world again. He glanced at his bracelet and sent up a silent thank you to his parents. He walked into the meeting and stood by Helena. He had noticed her before, and thought she was pretty. She looked smart and interesting “Hi there Helena” he said as he stood.
Tatianna was walking around the campus trying to decide where she would take here endurance and agility class to run today. The mountains . . . she decided. She saw Erina go into the control building to turn night into a new day. Tatianna watched as it happened and leaned against a tree as she breathed the air. “It might not be completely real, but were safe and its good enough” she said to herself looking up, at what, she didn’t know. When she looked back to the control building Erina was gone and the alarm was sounding.
Tatianna headed to the meeting and stood by thee door watching students walk in. She saw the Bela girl getting into it with a small chemical girl. “There gonna have to learn some how” she said under her breath and gave a little laugh and a smile as more students walked in. Well at least I don’t have to deal with her during the trip . . . She gave another laugh to herself. She wouldn’t tolerate any one doing that on the trip. Not on her watch. More students were still coming, age differing from everyone walking in. The older generations to the youngest that would out last many of them.
The line starts getting barer as the later students file in, coming in by their-selves. She was watching, kids mostly. They came in with tousled hair and wrinkled clothes. They probably just woke up, ignoring the bell. She left the door open and walked in and up by Erina waiting for the podium and mic to be ready. Erina looked nervous, “Hey, chill. They will be fine. I mean, myself and Marucs will be with them.” She says hoping to calm her friend’s nerves.
Aydin, ignoring his clock in the morning like always, shut it off the instant it started to beep. About half an hour later he woke up remembering that today he would be able to go into the real world. He hurriedly grabbed some clothes from his drawer and through them on, did his hair up and realized that his brother was obviously there considering that his light was on, he don't remember Christ even trying to wake him up.
Aydin rushed is way out the door still half way putting his shoes on. He sprints his way to the school thankful that he isn't lazy when it comes to running. He looks at the time on his phone and realized that he was thirty minuets late already. He reaches the school in time to only be about forty minuets late.
He reaches the meeting and notices that everyone was there on time but him. He knew instantly that Erina would be mad knowing that he was late to this meeting of anything else. He hurriedly goes to his brother hoping that he doesn't get tattled by someone.
(Imma pick on you a tiny bit Shadow. :). )
"Thank you Tatianna. With you and Marcus there I know things will go great." Erina answers, smiling kindly at Tatianna and Marcus. She motions for Thomas - who is now working the sound system to flip the Mic on. He gives her a thumbs up when everything's powered up. Erina clears her throat and looks out to the crowd, noticing Aydin Harc sneaking in to stand beside his brother. Most would have a hard time telling them apart but Erina could easily pick out their differences. "Nice of you to join us Aydin," Erina says teasingly. Normally she would dish out some form of punishment but decides against it seeing as today is special.
"Welcome everyone, today we have a special schedule to attend to. The awaited field day has finally arrived and I will now name the students who will be going from the level two class, if you are not called you may go to class immediately." Erina shuffles through the roster. Most of the newer level two students would be going.
"Helena Bordan, Chance Cornell, Hady Cornell, Aydin Harc, Christopher Harc, Bela Moore, Niklaus Winters, and Baeya st. Claire."Erina can hear a few kids grumble as they leave, mostly the young trainees who can't go out yet because of their age, despite being level two already. Its a small grouping of people, but Erina knows Marcus and Tatianna will have a handful. Before announcing who goes with who she decides to state a few rules.
"Many of you may know what its like outside Savilla, but others who were born here do not," She tries not to look directly Helena. "There are rules we must abide by. One, as trainees you are not aloud to get in the middle of civilian affairs or endanger yourselves or the civilians in any way. Two, listen to your instructor at all time, this day is meant for learning what to do while not within the safe walls of Savilla. And three, do not leave the city on your own." Erina figures these rules won't be hard for the adults in the group to follow, but the young teens might have trouble with this. Erina remembers when she was young and the Guardians initiative started. She remembers being a handful for her instructor, a first generation man who slowly lost his mind day by day.
"You'll be split up into groups now. With Marcus will be Chance, Christopher, Helena, and Niklaus. With Tatianna will be Hady, Baeya, Aydin, and Bela." Erina stifles a slight laugh. Tatianna will have a field day with Bela. With nothing else to say she sets the Mic aside and steps away from the podium. Its a clear dismassal for them To go ahead.
( haha I love how you put the trouble maker with all girls . . . just hoping your intention was two chemicals and two humans lol. Still love it just picking on you back a little bit. :) .)
Helena snaps out of her dazed state of mind, glancing sharply to Chris. She smiles lightly, absent mindedly running her fingers through her hair to smooth it away from her face. "Oh, hello. How are you?" Helena doesn't often speak to others, save for Baeya who very rarely talks to her but still does so on occasion. Her aloof nature often puts people off. And if that doesn't do it then its her beyond book smarts intelligence that does. Helena practically knows ever law and new society amendment by heart, and aces all of her normal subjects like math and English. Though her social ineptitude could be considered childishly cute in a way. She looks at him for a long time, trying to determine which twin he is. There are differences between the two Harc boys, but Helena unfortunately never paid them much mind to learn the differences between them.
The other Harc twin comes in late, and Erina calls him out on it. So now Helena knows she's talking to Chris at least. Erina starts in on her big speech, which Helena mostly zones out to. Until of course she mentions the whole 'being born in Savilla thing' which Helena hates to hear about. Her parents didn't want her to be killed outside, so what? She isn't so different because she never saw what its like out there. At least now she'll be prepared for what's to come. Erina tells them what teams they are on and she's a little sad that Baeya isn't with her in Marcus's group. She would have liked that calm familiarity with her. But on the upside Chris is on her team, so they can finish their barely started conversation, and maybe Helena will gain a new friend. That is if she doesn't screw it up right away.
She watches Marcus descend the stage and impulsively grabs ahold of Chris, his hand fitting easily into hers. She smiles a little brighter, childishly. "Come on," she says.
