The worst game is Rubies Of Eventide, the graphics are not up to par with todays standards but that is not the issue. The big problem is 1000 skills and only 20 are availible to use. Also the gameplay is awful! Fighting, everything.

Furcadia, most definitely. When your character can be a hot pink and green dog furry named Yubaba, it's generally a sign to run away. Fast.

Last Chaos soooo boring it makes you wanna rip of your arms so you can't play itand stap your eyes so you can't see how dreadfull it looks. Mu was also shit logged in got bored extremly quuickly unistalled.

Furcadia is the worst game ever.

Furries + Fail + WTF's going on? + Randomness = Furcadia. I played the game for like 5mins and didn't see any MMORPG features.

I agree. That game was so incomplete it was just awful. That game was so confusing it made me wana puke.

Oh and runescape isn't even close to the worst mmorpg ever made. Its actually quite fun and thought out.

Because Runescape isnt that bad... Runescape has more feature and things to do rather than a regular MMORPG where the only thing you can do is grind for levels.

I try to be picky with MMOs and what I want in them to avoid playing suckie MMOs, the method has worked so far, yet it's already phailed, because I've played MS and Runscape, browser-based and text based, and those are the worst, and so far, I've only found one MMO I've played and truly liked, and stuck with until I was over lvl 30, and that's FlyFF.

only one iv sticked with so far is domo. im somhow puting up with the hideos amounts of lag my pc makes

Tibia: the first MMORPG i played EVER, and seriously, this game is amazing... to be honest i miss it

MU Online: the 2cond MMORPG i ever played, it was amazing, but after lvl 120, i got bored of it.

RO: this is just.. awesome

GUNZ: I dont know why, but after i learned K style, i just couldnt stop playing, left after lvl 51

phantasy star universe also dissapointed me.. i loved blue burst but i went to play that and ew. I couldnt last longer then a day. They didnt even give you the robots that go above your shoulders..when you die you start over=/.

Real Life-sure it has great graphics, tons of lifelike npcs, millions of quests, and lots of job options, but why can I die so easily? Why can't I make a million dollars without much effort? There's this stupid stamina limit so you have to take lots of breaks. Finally, it's a huge grind, and in the end, everyone dies!

But seriously, I've played some bad MMOs, and it's pretty tough to choose a worst.

I'll have to say World of Warcraft. Before people start flaming here, I'm not saying that the game itself is bad. I think that the success of WoW has basically prevented any more innovation in MMOs, because devs see that WoW has 10+ million subscribers, so they try to be like WoW. Anything that is too different from WoW and the standard MMO format is set up to have a really tough time succeeding.

Cabal and EVERY other f2p mmo besides 2moons, maple story, silkroad, drift city, and GunZ.

AQ is a great game! It does not require payment after level 40, no clue where you got that. And I've never been able to NOT log onto the game.

AQ also never claimed to be an MMO. It claimed to be a browser based RPG, and that's exactly what it is.



Anyways, here's my 5:

1. World of Warcraft: For the same reason that everyone else said. It ruined the MMO genre as we know it. The game is average, deff not spectacular. This game is essentially an MMO for first-timers, it baby-steps you through everything, and the game poses nearly no challenge at all. And to top it off, once you get to level 70 you'll be doing nothing but killing things for more flashier armor. Fun. :hmm:

2. Maplestory: Possibly the worst grind game ever, yet the most successful cash shop game on the market. I have no idea as to why people pay for this game. It takes effin YEARS to even get to level 40. No game should be like that.

3. Hellgate London: One of the two games that, in my opinion, could have been pure gold, but were released too early. HGL had a very unique concept, some great gameplay, graphics, and a fairly loyal fanbase. But, unfortunately, the game was rushed out. The bugs were overflowing with this game, and it completely destoyed it. Really, really sad.

4. Age of Conan: Another game that could have been pure, pure gold. This game has THE MOST interesting combat I have ever played in a MMORPG. It's engaging, fun, gorey, and awesome. Decapitations are epic, and the graphics in this game are breath-taking. But, yet again, the game was pushed out too early. PvP was insanely unbalanced, bugs were everywhere, and quests were nearly no where to be found after level 50. If this game could have been in development for just 3 more months, it would probably have another million subscribers right now.

5. Fury: A game that goes from P2P, B2P, then F2P in less than a month must be absolute crap.

i can agree that wow is good for newcomers but it gets harder when u start to get end game, which most.." new comers" from what iv seen havnt gotten too.
aoc had great potential but with all the hell that plagued it in the first few patches it got bad rep.
and HL iv never had much experience with but i heard it is quite nice from my friends.

Seriously either all the armor looks the same or endgame isnt that great.

WoW is just too easy for me, but then again i play everquest 1 which is a kick in the nuts compared to WoW.
