So I got this email from Codemasters. The company that makes Archlord?

Is the game very good? I signed up for it a LONG time ago, but never tried it.

I was wondering what everyone thought about it. Maybe you would play with me? ;D

i played it for 3hrs then deleted it.. its boring and full of grind but you might like it..

its boring.. i only got to lvl 31... well its just a typical grindy grind grind.

its extreamly grindy/buggy but i loved it imo its pretty random but its not one of the best games to put time into x.x

I got level 31 in the game as well.... I think thats about when the grind becomes too much


I would still play however, if they added in more skills. I crave more skills, and archlord only gave my mage like 12 skills from level 1-max (assuming I dont become the archlord)

You can look at other people's tho, but seriously. Game sucks.

I'm playing right now. Mage level 19 and I must say the grind is terrible. The only reason I'm still playing is because at level 22 I will finally get aoe, hopefully helping me level faster. Other than the grind the game definitely is a blast as long as you get in a fun guild and or make friends. I say for the people who haven't tried it yet, give it a shot, because to me it is definitely the best f2p out there. I just hope Archlord doesn't pull a RF Online (seeing as the same company runs it).

if archlord is the best f2p to you, you have never played anything else besides Archlord. i would vote to say the opposite. Archlord is terribly boring contentless grind to the *ss end of nowhere. When you reach lv 60 (IF you do so), you can start the high end "content", random skillbashing pvp where elementalists or archers will always rape you in a matter of seconds

I personally enjoy the game. The grind sucks, but the guild wars and castle sieges are fun. To seriously enjoy the game you'll have to join an active guild.

Well I've played many mmorpgs, I just personally think this one is fun. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean that I can't enjoy it. I liked RF Online way more than this game, but seeing as it is going down the crap hole I'm sticking with this. Wow I love it when people bash on other's opinions.

first of all, its a codemasters game. that already should stop u from playing it immediately :P then there are only a few skills, alot of grind, almost non-existant and very unimportant quests, no jobchanges, lots of hackers, a bitchy community.

I liked it there was lots of quests but got boring after awhile it might be good now episode 3 is out i am going to go back to it and try it again.
