View Full Version : FFXI Buddy Pass
Pikko
08-25-2008, 08:40 AM
I'm giving away a "buddy pass" for Final Fantasy XI.
It will allow you to download the game and play, free, for a month.
I'll help fund whoever I decide to give the pass to.
So, just wondering... who wants it?
Requirements: A good PC that can actually run the game.
You have to be able to pay for the game once the free trial completes. (If you like it enough to pay.)
I'll understand if you don't like the game enough to P2P, but if there's no way that you could ever pay monthly for a game, there's no point in me giving you the free trial...
Play on my server, Pandemonium.
You have to speak English well.
That's all. :)

Lol.
Anyways, I'd like the buddy pass. The game looks interesting and Ive been meaning to get it. Instead of wasting XX$ I guess the trial would help a lot. GL to whoever gets it.

i posted buying @ paying for ffx1 and got 300+ responses an 4k views to no if it was worth it, and hell it is. btw, download the benchmark if your scores over 2000 u can play the game but wit lag over 4000 then ur ok (trust me the speccs rnt rlly wat they say they r)
but hey, if u dun get the buddy pass, i will give u mine wen i buy the expansions packs. (my b-days on 10th september) even if i dun get the buddy pass, i might still buy it. oh ya gl to who ever gets it (its there a free trial?)

I get a 15435 on benchmark.....but I hate those tests since I find them highly incorrect when using it to tell how good your system is.
I don't have a mic yet I might get one later, but if you meant type english instead of speak then I guess i could do that.
can't be absolute on playing after the one month unless it's a good game.
heck you know what don't even bother giving it to me even if somehow you thought to which I find unlikely. If I like the game alot I would pay the monthly price in the first place.

[QUOTE=Sayomi Nagase;1255772]I get a 15435 on benchmark[\QUOTE]
thats bullshit dude. btw, to make it fair. people who actually want the game should gather up each others msn and the pikko guy should have a random number game. like 0-1000 peps get a 3 guesses who ever closes gets it? thats wat i usually do.

Alienware Approved nForce 6 SLi
2GB DDR2
Dual 768MB Nvidia Geforce 8800s GTXs in SLi Config
Alienware Edition Sound Blaster X-Fi Elite

Hey... if you still have it I would like it :/
I custom built my computer so it owns lol.. I can run any game on highest settings :/ I never tried out FFXI but I have always wanted to.. Today got me wanting to try it out from hearing about the new feature of being able to adjust your level to find a party easier. I love.. the final fantasy series and love MMORPGs lol.. So yeah I want to try it out badly :/ I dont have a job right now which gives me alot of time to play games .. and I did have a job which gave me alot of money to be able to subscribe to games lol.. So if I do end up liking it I will most likely subscribe. I LOVE final fantasy X I beat it alot.. and I beat final fantasy tactics advanced alot and I have final fantasy tactics on psp, and I have final fantasy 12 which I havent beat.. because I leveled my chars to easy so Im like a god on that game lol.. but will beat it some day, also have FF8 which I love cuz squall owns :/. I am really excited about FF13 and FF13 versus.. and really excited about trying out this game :/ I have lots of time to play.. lol. If I got the buddy pass I would download the game overnight and be playing by tommorow morning..

I'm buying this game very soon and don't know which server to play yet, bahamut is the only one I know someone on so far.
Actually I have a super ultra secret account right now someone let me borrow who shall not be named so that I can try out the game and see if I actually like it and so far it seems pretty cool other than I don't know exactly how to heal after a battle yet..xD

My modem has been screwing with my as of the past two days and I've been completely unable to play.
Meh, I've been on sylph for years and it's overpriced to change server.
Pikko
08-26-2008, 06:41 AM
They made it expensive & very restricted (have to have played for 90 days before you can transfer, and after you transfer you can't do it again for 90 days) so that the RMT wouldn't abuse it to transfer gil/accounts.
I just moved from Caitsith to Pandemonium.
I think it was worth it. I moved to play with a friend, but it's nice to have a fresh start, too.

If I was on my own, I'd consider it, but, currently I have a chatroom filled with people who are on the same server as me and I really can't just leave them, it'd be like abandoning a kitten to the forest...

Just wanted to say, if you guys really want to play the game trail wise you can go to ebgames or gamestop or just about anywhere that sells games and get the 30 day free starter pack game disk. I got mine for 99cents and started playing like 3 month's ago. So, the buddy thing is sorta ok, but you can get the same thing for 99 cents like I said.
I'm only writing this for those he doesn't give it to so you can try it. Still takes cc tho.
