.: Story :.

Long ago, A ancient Story was told, called the "Three Stars"
the legend told, that they was hidden in sacrad places that
no one has ever seen before, each of the three stars, was hidden
in three mysterous places, if anyone would find it, they most prove
they are worthy of possesing the star as a guardian awaits them.
But what was so specieal about the stars, the legends say
that they can unlock, great rich's and imortalaty but it also
says that it can be used for demonic powers.......


.: Introduction :.
Destiny is a japanese/english game, it will use mirage a very
powerful engine powered by VB6, allthought the VB6 isnt powerful,
its still a great chance to make a fun, free mmorpg, and thats what
im here for, Destiny Online will be one of the most best 2D mmorpg,
and as you can see we are working hard on this game, but why
am i here today, to recruit members!

.: Question's :.

Q:What are the class's?

A:There will be eight classes, warrior, mage, druid, warlock....ect

Q:How will a player choose its class's?

A:Well, when you start the game you will get to choose a race,
playe the game, and level up and when your level 10 its time
to decide what class you want to be.

Q:Will there be any spells?

A:Of course, the main course of the game is to use spells, there
will be alot of nice spells that will boost, heal and revive
your friends and you, and dont forget spells that kill monsters!

Q:AS you mentioned ''Races'' what is there to choose?

A:Human and three others that i plan to unveil bit by bit...

A:How many maps will there be,

Q:Around 2000 to 5000,

A:How many players can join on a game at once?

Q:500-1000

and make our own features!

Wait... you are making the game in Visual Basic? Hmmmmm???
Also, to have 500-1000 people on a server at once requires a pretty expensive piece of hardware.

very simple, currently the mirage engine uses WINSOCK, but if you reaplace winsock with ICOP then you can run a server that can hold 500-1000 players, depending on your pc,! lol, BUT the server must run on a XP console, the 2000 machines arent fit to hold so many connection's,

So the operating system that was built to be implemented as a server, has the ability to hold less users than the operating system made for home use? :confused:

2000 consoles, wernet manufactured to hold too many connection's, while the XP home and pro was built in a certain way where we can allow more users to connect, VB is so old, that the engine uses the winsock as a main server hosting refrence while ICOP was programmed in C++ BUT works on VB6.

Destiny Online - is a spin off Final Destiny, since the name was **** since the jap text was too long.... :( now i shortened it for easier japanese,

basically, all same.... Engine Compleation : ??? hours since its finally summer 4 me, i will crack on!

A little note... Which Windows XP are we talking? The one I know about can only hold about 10 simultaneous connections so it can protect itself better. You would have to go in and edit the little thing that tells it to stop accepting connections.

Umm the little glare thingy is still moving pretty slow. Make it move across in like 0.5-2 sec or something. Also imo it looks better with the little copyright text on the bottom (except the first time, you put the copyirght was 2206-2009 xD)

the glare is actually, moving at No delay, 0 secounds.....

Not that kind of delay!

I think you created a white line and you're moving it slowly across. The problem is, there is space on the sides and the white line is still moving there, but you cant see it. That creates something that looks like a delay because it looks like nothing is happening.

By the way, don't double post please.
