if someone wants u to go down to the lumbridge slayer dungeon like saying im gona have a drop party or my friend is stuck down there DONT DO IT. they give u a rope and a candle and a tinder box they tell u to light the candle and give them back there tinderbox and set up the rope they will go down and u'll go down to u folo them like semi deep into the cave and ur candle goes out and if ur like me (a unsuspecting new member that didnt know that could happen) u try to go back the way u came (like me) but u couldnt (like me) and u die and lose some of ur stuff(like me who had rune pl8 body, obby cape, rune legs,some kind of dragon wepon,rune boots,and rune full helm and some other good stuff) i lost like 2mill from falling victim to this scam so im warnin new members to not to fall for this scam.
i was a member for about 2 months b4 this happened and i didnt hear of any kinda scam like this one b4 from any1.Now i quit runescape cause there was to many scams. I was lvl 77 with a total lvl of 1000 somtin.

Dont forget about the scam with cave crawlers in the slayer cave north of relleka...People tell others to attack cave crawlers if they want free full mith.But victim cant hurt the cave crawler if they dont have high enough slayer.

Its in the Lumbridge swamps.To go down there you need a lit candle or something else.If your gonna do that bring a spiky helmet (wards off wall beasts which will hit a 19 if you dont have one equipped) and light your candle or whatever.You can only stay in the room thats after the wall beast I think other wise the flames will explode and injure you.Along with that while there is no light little cave bugs will constantly hits 1s on you ever second I think.Its one of the most dangerous scams there are.

membership scamming!
this scam starts out with one person in a bank say " follow for free membership " and when they have 3 people following they take them to a private place ( the scammer always has a freind that goes first ) when their in a sacure place he will ask questions to his freind who is already a member and he will go to a member world after that he'll pm you and say " their is a major drop party come here " so the guy asking the questions say hes like a ex jagex mod or is a jagex mod, he says he need some people to test out new things in member places..... he'll ask you 3 questions like " how often do you play runescape in a week " and " how will this membership affect how much you play and will you help in theese testings " and finaly he say " ok good, now all i need is your password " DO NOT GIVE IT TO HIM!!!

FOLLOW FOR A FREE 100K


this works like the fisrt one in a way... some one goes into a bank say " follow for a free 100k " when they have 3 people following and a friend folowing with them ( they dont know hes a freind ) they go to a safe, private place... and... start a game of point trust!!!... the one who is scamming will explain the rules of this game.... "we'll take turns and the first one to 100 points wins" "you get points by trading me an item of any value and i rate it and give it back" lets say if you trade me a pot you'll get 5 points, if you trade me full addy its 35points and the freind always pretends to trade the guy who is scamming and he'll pretend to trade him like a rune plate to get more cash.... but when someone else trades some really good the guy scamming will trade it to his freind log out while the freind stays their and tries to cheer the scammed guy up....

this scam will easily take full rune...
and for the password scam the strip you of your valubles and drop everything else.... and posibly try to get you banned....

Some guy will say in a crowded place "If you say your password, it'll come out as *s"
Another guy, his friend, would go like "********" and say after that "wow, didn't think it actually works"
And then they just wait for people to try it :/
Stupid scam :/ If you do say it accidentally, just don't log off and quickly change your password. If they already changed your password, give all your items to a really trust worthy friend and do a password recovery.

alright my freind just lost his whip to this scam! i'm not going to telkl you how it works, but just how to avoid it.... i do this only because some desperate need cashwhip scam... some oen will say they will buy your whip for 3.5m but he likes making pk videos, so he tells you to go into the wilderness with only one item, your whip... and he might trade you a full invent of rune ess.... he'll trade you 4 mystic tops in the wild and kill you really fast, so just dont go in the wild with him and your fine.... even if he shows cash... just dont do it and you wont lose your whip.... this happened to my freind 2, the first time he went along with the scam and died with 3 items he left with a 2 dragon scimmys and his whip... now the second time he tried it again and lost his whip.......

rofl so hilarious my friend invented that scam and got 4 phats from that. i cant believe people can be so careless these days...My friend said he actually felt sorry for those people when they pmin his guy...

like karma, my friend got hacked 6 days later by a keylog that was in his computer all this time..he was like the hoe doin all the dirty work while the other hacker sits and watch as he pimp him around
