wow, My dad bought a new router, a belkin one.
We had a netgear one, but then after a while, my dad couldn't connect to the internet.
SOOO! lets get to the point, i have just connected this new belkin router to my pc, perfectly, then, i plug and install the belkin usb key to my dads pc, perfectly.
Okay so from here i think "yay it worked!" but then... My PC can connect to browsers perfectly, but my dads... the browsers dont even load the pages, but the router is connected and the connection is on 'perfect'..

why the hell isn't anything loading for my dad =[?

Sorry, if it was a Linksys router I could help, but since it's Belkin, not much. But I'll research it a bit and see if I can get a fix for you. Or you could simply call tech support.

I've had so much trouble with my Belkin router its unbelievable. I would post on some technology forums and ask for help. /g/ is a great place to start.

Are you trying to connect through infrastructure or ad hoc? You want infrastructure.

yeah it has an IP address
all it doesn't have is a DNS and WINS address. =/
