i think it was a od quest that was deleted but they left the moon platform so noobs will waste there money going there.

It is used as part of one quest, but mainly i guess it is for "couples" if you know what i mean lol or just as a place to meet up.

Nope, there's no quest involving moon platform. Already checked the official site couple of times (also the official forum). :o
