Hey guys, I'm getting bored with my play list, and not having much knowledge on JRock bands. I would like some recommendations for what band I should listen too. Bands like Jenne da Arc, Uverworld, and high and mighty color are what I've listened to.

FLOW is pretty good too. I love their songs for Code Geass. Some of their other songs are not bad either. Like japanese version of green day, but better :D

+1 for Galneryus. They're simply mesmerising.
I recommend L'Arc~en~Ciel too. My favourite albums are REAL(bravery, STAY AWAY, Time Slip), SMILE(READY STEADY GO, snow drop, Feeling Fine), Ark(Dive to Blue, Perfect Blue) and AWAKE(Lost Heaven, Ophelia).

Albums:
Dir en grey - GLASS SKIN
the pillows - Pied Piper
L'arc~en~ciel - Dune, Awake
X Japan - Art Of Life
Glay - HEAVY GAUGE
the term j-rock is so dense...
Any special kind of japanese rock you're looking for?
Anyways, here's a list of some of my recs. If you can't find some of it, I'll upload it for you:
9mm Parabellum Bullet - crazy band...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF3C8uM465g
acidman - jazzy, alternative stuff
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBDhLz0C_DA
Asian Kung-Fu Generation - need no introduction I suppose
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxjYJWvmOlg&feature=related
BUMP OF CHICKEN - shouldn't need an introduction, one of the biggest bands in japan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJ5SP_MO6fY&feature=related
coaltar of the deepers - I recommend you try different songs of this band, cuz they've done almost every single genre ever made... It's insane...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFXMW67zJuI
THE RODEO CARBURETTOR - Really good band, but I could only find like 1 or 2 songs on youtube...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5jOUzv5Vgw
LUNKHEAD - nice kinda like akfg, but their songs are more varied.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fr41-9RROMI&feature=related
Oblivion dust (both of these are quite good, more western tuned)
FAKE?
Sambomaster - soul rock..?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qFaIeVXGzs&feature=related
Tokyo jihen - It's shiina ringo(she = sex)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRDWY7sgtHA
Transtic Nerve - couldn't find any songs except their hide cover and one more...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqQ8WQy8bU0&feature=related
Blood Stain Child - WRAAAAAAAARR
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2oi-8xl7uZs
doping panda - nice up-beat soft-rock.
the back horn - another famous band.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7HssqyOO2g
the pillows - these guys are classics in japan. They have more albums released than... Well, it's a lot.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsatgALVnXc
B'z - One of japans most-selling groups ever. The guitarist is ****ing awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9I0xpOCcNI
And L'arc~en~ciel of course, but it's been recommended by so many already ;)
As for V-kei(or former, as many of these apparently don't qualify anymore, since the newer V-kei image has changed...), the only thing I would recommend atm, is:
Plastic Tree
hide
dir en grey
MUCC
luna sea
x japan
siam shade
Baroque(now kannivalism)
sex machineguns
Xenonight2
