made it just incase, i find communicating in irc is alot easier and alot faster, and more.. sociable? we mainly talk about DragonGem along with other random topics

this channel is new, meaning there are hardly people in it, and we are about as clueless as everyone else, so we are looking forward to meet people who are knowledgable, and people who want to help others out as the game progresses. so dont feel lonely as this wont be packed till the game starts and catches on, but it would be good if you were to hang out for awhile, so if more people were to join in, they would stay.

PLEASE READ: this is NOT an irc channel hosted by an admin of dgem or anything of the sort. its a channel operated by eager players for it to be released, and hoping to build a small community so that gameplay would be more enjoyable. we may know a bit, but probably not as much as you already know. we're here to learn and help in the process.

if youre new to irc: (guide for mIRC)

1) go to www.mirc.com - dl the latest version
2) when its open and ready, type /server irc.xelium.net
3) when the channel window pops up just type DragonGem, if it doesnt type /join #DragonGem

this is the place to meet new people, get their igns, and stay in contact with when the game is down... which seems to be happening alot

this is the place to ask for help - we have a few jgem players here such as myself who pretty much know the basics and a little more

this is the place to whine and bitch about how "well" gng is doing their job

dont think just because there are little people that its not active, most log on when the game is up, not to mention, we have 2 certain members here who can talk forever about anything >.< ...but you can also never go wrong with just idling

hehe yep, would be cool if we got more people though (currently 15 on avg, aiming for 30+)

I've been on the DG IRC but there isnt a lot of people talking a lot. =/ There just in and silent...........

either asleep or doing something else in the meantime

we know dragongem isnt gonna be properly working till sometime this weekend (which probably might be delayed again, that we are expecting as well), so we dont hang around every minute spamming the page in hopes of getting in because its just pointless. wait till the games officially released and running w/o the login closing all the time

and IF youre one of those people who join in for less than 20 seconds and then just quit without even saying anything, then that doesnt really count as a valid reason to say that were too silent (it happens alot)
