ok.. this is my firstpost so il try my best =/.well for starters i got a lvl 53 assassin so i know what im doin.i highly recommend that u fund ur assassin (probably from a cleric) but my assassin is unfunded (BIG MISTAKE).

1) the thief is the most hardest job in maple story and i do not recommend it be ur first account even if it was my first acc.however it has fun skills like haste and if u want a challenge make this ur first acc.the thief has 2 second jobs the bandit and the assassin.the assassin is much faster than the bandit (but the bandit is still fast) and the assassin is the fastest job in the whole game of maplestory.the bandit however does very high damage(higher than sins but sins r still strong).srry but this guide is only about the thief and the assassin ( i dont have bandit yet).now for the stat build of the thief.

2)instead of makin it into sentences il just use jotnotes.
- first point into lucky seven
-second make nimble body 3
-third max out keen eyes and 1lucky seven (maxed keen eyes)
-fourth put 8 on lucky seven (10 lucky seven)
- if this is ur first account i recommend maxin nimble body then the rest 10 on lucky seven if its not vice versa
-after tht put 3 on disorder then 10 on darksight
-congratulations ur lvl 30 now u can go make the assassin job (get some pots and mabye some stars.

3) again this is gonna be in jot notes
-1-10 maple island
-10-15 huntin ground 1 at the bottom
-15-18 slimes (slime trees)
- 18-21 orange mushrooms (mushroom garden)
-21-25 octupuses or green and hornymushrooms (construction sight or forest up north of elinna 2)
-25-31 party quest in kerning or if u get bored of waitin undead mushrooms( u can try) or blue mushrooms

4) the assassin. u should start by doing the lvl 30 quests for easy pots and the bathrobe. the assassin will start out slow but when u get claw booster and haste ul own.u may be a little weak untill u max out critical but no need to worry about tht for now.

5) stat build for assassin in jot notes
- 1st point into claw mastery
- 2 on claw mastery (3 claw mastery) 1 critical
- 3 critical (eh just keep puttin on critical till its maxed u should have 1 point left over use it on claw mastery)
- 1 claw mastery 2 claw booster
-3 claw boostery
- max haste 1 endure
- 2 endure 1 drain
- then max claw mastery
- max drain (or if u want put a little on claw booster (1-3) to lvl faster)
- put all ur points left over into claw mastery till lvl 70 where u can be a hermit
- srry guys i dont have a hermit so i cant tell u

6)
-k huntin grounds time
- 30-37 wild boars or undead mushrooms and horny mushrooms ( land of wild boar or ant tunnels 1 or 2) wild boars will waste alot of pots but more exp and undead mushrooms r just a good source of exp (wild boars respawn faster)
- 37- 40 fire boars (burnin land 1 or 2)
- 40-50 pq great exp or 40-45 pq 45 try robos reason for pq most monsters u kill dont have tht good drops ( try curse eyes if u want or u can go to evil eyes if ur really weak/ poor)
- 51-55 stone golems entreance to stone golems use drain on the blue mushrooms
- 55-60 coolie zombiez ( funded sins can start here unfunded try or come at lvl 57) or if u need some tobis go to dark stone golems (strong def)
- 60-67 red drakes ( bad exp just for ppl who wants some steelies) cargos AWESOME DROPS/EXP wild cargo area or dangerous valley 2
- tauromacis or back to cargos ( go to tauromacis after u have drain at a high lvl or ul waste ALOT of pots cause they got magic atck)
- congratulations level 70 go be a hermit:)

7) jot notes bleh

-10-15 subis ( or u can get wolbis there really cheap now)
-15-20 ( wolbis or subis)
-20-25( atleast mokbis save money UL NEED IT TRUSE ME IL EXPLAIN Y)
-25-30 (kumbis NOT ICEYS NO MATTER HOW COOL THEY LOOK)
-30-40( kumbis)
-40-60 tobis or 40-50 kumbis 50-60 tobis or 50-70tobis
-70+= steelies ( maybe 1 set of tobis) and ilbis ( not recommend for unfunded sins)

8) claws jote notes ( dont hate me lol):(

- 10-25 garnier ( just to save up for.. the next claw)
- 25-40 meba +7 hundred % scrolls (MUST) (till 40 cause of its speed faster only claw wit this speed)
-40 get a admauntin or dark avarice upgrade wit 100% scrolls
- 50-60 dark or saphrie slain (saphire i suggest 38 atck and dark i suggest 36atck) this is where ul start usin 60% scrolls
- 60-70 dark giga but its hard to get since u cant make it so i suggest u get it off ppl or stick wit ur dark slain or get a better dark slain
- 70-80 lvl 70 claw..
- 80-90 80 claw
-90-100 lvl 90 claw
- il have to check if theres a lvl 100 claw

8) end well this guide took me like 2hrs so i hope u guys like it send me comments or concerns on the forum remember this is my first guide so plz dont get mad and when ur higher lvl dont ks ppl they might have guilds tht will ks u or they might defame u. well il see u guys on the forum HAPPY MAPLIN.:cool:
