Well WarRock was already out and that is why many people liked it. I myself played it for about a month but got bored of all the same maps how ever they seem to have doubled in size and graphics. That is why many people are big for the game since it was put down for about 3 months.

Just wait till the boats, helicopters, planes get put in there. then u will have fun :P

lmao boats, on what water map, planes on what air map? doubt theyll get any major updates within a month, I played beta, they never updated or anything and when they did you get this 7 month wait, get 5 weapons and less laggyer server thing, so maybe in 7 monthes youll have a helicopter.

um.. the korean war rock has all of that.. so many you should look into it before you say crap..

I was usnure why they didn't add them but we did get a few new maps, gaming like Counter Strike (one death match after another) and I hope they get the helicopters and what not in the day they releaes this for full open beta.

BF2 its only 2 hits with rocket to kill tank, OR a mine and you shoot it. neverthe less dont complain about 5 hits with a rocket.. x.x thats even too much. CS 1.6 blah poo on that. Zero n Source are better in my OPINION. ;)

Still, much better than Counter-Strike. It terms of gameplay and community.

Totally agreeable Aduckie, however. If the game does not appeal to many in alpha, pre-beta, beta, or even the begining of the release. Its going to lose its players. Very quickly. So merely I was just saying. It isnt very appealing ATM. I'd rather wait for it to get the snowball goin' down the hill; you could say.

I found BF2 too hard to control on the PC for some reason. However CS is a thumbs up ^^. But I got over it playin since 1.5... gets really boring. I play BF2 on the PS2 tho. Still intrigues me.

BF2 and CS aren't $9.99 combined. CS 1.6 alone is $9.99, and BF2 is probably $39.99. Source is like $29.99. This is an outstanding game for being 100% free.

The new selection system is great (Three areas, Mission, Combat, and Vehicle.) It makes it much easier to go to a game you actually want to play in. Not to mention the item system and the Mission area is nice to do. Much like CS there.

this games not that fun to me i played it for 2 seconds thought it was ok then an
hour later got bored of it. it helps me in cs some way. maybe it's because the only way you can kill someone without getting killed is head shot.

I think it's pretty fun, I haven't played BF2 or COD2 or whatever, and I don't intend to.

And it runs smooth on my GeForce FX 5500. XD

Doesn't lag for me. I get a little server lag once in a while (where just as I go back into my humvee, 1 sec later I get killed >.>), but other than that the game runs smooth (on medium graphics, 1280 x 1040 [or something]). Maybe it's the slow mouse sensetivity (compared to cs 1.6) that makes you guys think this game is slow. I don't see how this game is slow, pretty fast-paced to me, but then, it depends what map you play.

Im running a Crappy GeForce MX 4000 card amd i can run it on High settings with no lag at all.


Warrock is a great game only if the staff would keep there promises on what they tell the public. We all thought we would have Planes,Boats or at least the clan system implimented into the game but we were totally let down. They better hurry up and update this game or alot of plp will continue to "Uninstall"

They said they were getting punkbuster but in the end, i think they rejected the contract and deleted it, punkbuster did not support warrock in the end, =_=

Okay, people, please stop saying things when you are guessing completely. It only leads to stupid rumors.

1. The game isn't even in open beta yet. What's happening now is the pre-release, and it's supposed to only be for those who attended E3. Of course, we all know the codes leaked out and it isn't anymore, but stop treating it like it's here for you to criticize. 90% of you probably shouldn't even be playing.

2. The game is a translation of the korean version. For those of you saying "we'll never see new maps/features that fast!", remember, all they gotta do is translate and add the already made content. It wouldn't take that long. The good news is K2 intends to add things like custom controls and joystick support for the international, plus other things not seen in the korean. However, it isn't there yet of course.

3. The game WILL be getting Punkbuster, it just isn't implemented yet for the pre-release.

4. I'm sorry, but "omg, this game is slow" isn't really a good justification of saying it sucks. If you don't like it, that's fine, but if you must go after the game like that, make a valid point. Those of you saying that it isn't a low spec BF2, why don't you try running both of them on my computer and tell me which runs better. Oh right, BF2 doesn't work and Warrock does, pretty well might I add. :P

5. The pre-release is going until about late June or July, then it'll be open beta. Any earlier dates are rumors. That May 25th rumor was actually the original estimated date for the pre-release (which is already out).


But...

I can't stress #1 enough. Why the planes and boats and maps aren't there, I don't know, but your in no place to badmouth the game that most of you technically aren't allowed to be playing. Wait until the open beta if you really think your voice needs to be heard.

As your number 2: I am a bit confused, are people saying it's impossible to see them this fast? I believe it's because many of us played WarRock originally with promises back then that never happened and then it was shut down for what many thought to be a upgrade, but when they first open it, it is just the same. Many do not realize that this was mainly to get more attention from the press. (Since lets face it about 70% of the people accepted to E3 are in the press) This is just my oppinion on what it is mainly for. But when I think about it, aren’t Korean games written in Korean? So really translating could take a bit, even good translators mess up a few times.

A while ago, the counter said 8 or 9 days (counting down to pre-release). It was estimated then it was supposed to be released around the 25th. However, the counter was cut down from 8 days to about 5 days a couple days and it came out the 21st. I don't know why people are still saying anything is happening on the 25th, maybe I'm wrong, but as far as I can tell nothing will be happening then.

Actually, I just assumed they meant something like the character runs to slow. Not that their PC is running it poorly or they're getting lag.

I never even heard of this news/rumor until I came here, and I frequent the official boards often (infact, I was a moderator there for a day, then decided to stop cause being the only moderator of such a large forum really sucks). I just know the only thing I heard regarding the 25th was a while ago before pre-release even came out... which I explained back at #1.

I am not staff by the way. Just moderated a little bit on the forums. I don't remember how I found the forums exactly, but I've been around for a little while.

Well, it does have the new CS mode (with 2 new maps for the mode) and new servers. Definately not what we were expecting, but I suspect they're saving a lot for the open beta this summer.

Yeah some people just save $ and buy good card..

Well usually there would be a NDA one would have to accept before playing, which would make it illegal in law to give any information.
