Just looking for an rpg on ps2, anyone have any good suggestions? No FF, no Kingdom Hearts. I want it similar to Kingdom Hearts though. Thanks. I actually hope for an RPG where I can customize a character.

Ok it doesnt have to have character customization but as long as it has a great battle system, i'd prefer it NOT to be like FF.

do you like turn based games? because disgaea is a pretty good choice.

Also I might suggest Grandia III, it is a very fun game.

Yeah I've already played a couple Onimusha games, i dont really want an rpg like that. I want one like a mix between FF and Kingdom Hearts. I don't really care for turn based though but i might go for that. I'd prefer the fighting to be real time slightly like Kingdom Hearts. Is Tales of the Abyss apart of the Tales... series? I was kinda interested in Tales of Legendia, anyone know if thats any good? I'm just tired of the constant MMORPG grind so I was interested in getting back into ps2 for a bit while flippin NosTale continues to be delayed.

Edit: Tales of the Abyss looks AWESOME! Thanks. Most likely gonna get it now haha Although I wasn't really wanting to get a brand new game, looks too good to pass up. Hope i'm not getting my hopes too high up to get them tore down though. Have you tried it?

you should probably just subscribe to gamefly. i got it and its pretty good. 10 bucks a month which isnt expensive and you can rent from like 500 ps2 games and no late fees. just play them until you beat them and bored of em then send em back and get some more. its worth it if you ask me because its cheaper than buying the games, you can try lots of games, and when you would normally be bored of a game and sad you wasted 50 bucks on it you can just send it back and get new games

well i dont have a credit card that right there makes it undoable. The other reason is im not interested in playing ps2 all the time i just wanted to get a game to play for the time being. As in a game that is out.

shining force, secret of mana for ps1 (i mean cartoon rpgs look the same rather its ps1 or ps2, its still a great game), magna carta, Monster Hunter is kinda rpgish.
