well most people really focus on one or the other
but its ok to even out both
thing is you wont be great at any thing you will be ok
you will be a good back up I suppose but dont expect to be right up front in the battles
but maybe some one else has a different take on this subject

hybrids are good depending on what you are and since you're and archer you'd be ok but a full int or full str will most likely kill you.

okay if you are a archer i would suggest that you try to be a little hybrid but not full. What i mean is you can go 2str 1 int for a while then go full str. If you stay full hybrid you will most likely die every single pvp battle you face. Also do not go full int with a archer thats stupid. Archer attack rating is pretty low and if you are str you will become much stronger. Lastly if you lose a lot of pvp battles while your in lvl 20's dont worry, going hybrid str at lvl 31 pays off greatly. At lvl 31 you are able to get strong bow which i suggest you get right away. With strong bow if you are wat i said to be you can kill most full int in one shot plus take many nukes. dont forget to lvl up your buffs. Make sure your health is at least 1000 points higher then your mp. Trust me you will become a killing machine at lvl 31, i promise.

And after lvl 50/60 you'll get cained. I suggest restart your character and go full str. No point going int with an archer, because as an int, you're best attacks are your nukes, which are ranged anyway, so you might aswell go spear for the dmg, or sword/shield for the defence. Int Archers are pointless, you dont do as much dmg with a bow as a spear nuker, but have lower hp, and the same defence. As for hybrid, they're OK, but pures are better. Int hybrids are quite good, but str hybrids lose out. They have a little higher dmg than pure strengths, but have lower dmging criticals, lower hp, lower physical balance. As an archer, you'll be using anit devil bow a lot, which makes you critical a lot, so you'll want as a high dmging critical as possible, go full str.
