View Full Version : insuffecient disk space for cabal

well i'm trying to download cabal and the downloader puts it in the wrong drive C(has hardly any disk space). how do i put direct it to be downloaded in drive D(has 30gb of space)?

i don't kno how u transfer it to diff drive but why don't u just free up space in ur C disk? just delete some programs or run disk cleanup or disk defragmenter

When ur saving the file just select a folder in ur other drive.. Its not aht hard.

FYI, If you have a HP computer, that D drive is for revcovery only. Saving files on it may corrupt your recovery files and therefore leaving your PC useless if a Unfixable error occurs. For only 110 dollars you can get a 80 GB External harddrive.

Ummm, just change the path of the file by clicking the the options at the top where it says "C" Drive(Or whatever drive the file is going to.) then click "D" Drive and then hit "Save". Basic knowledge, I suggest that you take a Data Processing Course >.>.. In High School of course.

Oh, that could be a problem then... I don't know what to do about that. Except doing what this man suggests, which is getting a External Hardrive.
