1. both 2d sidescrolling mmorpgs
2. have similar classes
3. cute graphics

other then that they're totally different.
also dg is alot easier to lvl in compared to ms
and dg has a better community

Its not that, it's just that a lot of people go "Dragongem sucks! its a blatant maple rip off! KILL IT!" So people will of course get defensive as soon as somebody mentions this game possibly being worse, which you did.

In two to three was is it like Maplestory. One its a side scrolling rpg two (sort of) its 2d and three it has the same class names.
Other then that they have very little similarities if any. I found DG much more boring then MS (ya MS is a grindfest but it is more addicting then DG). DG couldn't be a grindfest because the monsters don't give a % and you have to get most of your levels threw simple (sometimes repeatable) collection quests... (wee). Pick your poison really.. Do you want to go have to collect items for the majority of your exp or just kill the monsters and not have to go back.

Oh and really DG is a grindfest where you get maybe a quarter of your exp from the monsters and the rest from a quest that you get when you give a guy back in town the items it droped... Thus making you waste more time having to go back to town over and over...

Yes MS came second so it would be the copy cat... Honestly I don't care..

Anyway yes I have played for a bit and if you got bored at level 50 then you really are sad.. If you can pass the slump (25-40) and then get tired?

Hey, I rock the blues clues shirt and the shoes so please don't say that.

Anyway, DG is alot better then MS because you don't have the Scamers and hackers all over the place + DG isn't that big of a grind as MS is.

BTW: I wasn't playing Blues clues pwnts all other shows.

You have your own opinion and I respect that. Also, You can't get really creative with the names. They're the basics. Warrior, Archer, Thief, Mage. You find that basically in any game. Any game you play, It's there. Even if the names arent the same, You can relate. I totally agree that Maplestory was a grindfest. Actually, Maplestory wasn't that addicting. There was nothing to do. It got so boring to the point where I sold Town Scrolls around town and I met lots of nice people. I even had the same people come to me over 10 times a day just to buy my scrolls. I was basically a hit. That was how boring it was. Training was dumb. The servers were overloaded, and all the good training spots were basically taken. You would either have to wait, KS, or go to a crappier spot with like 2 monsters as a spawn (Not to my liking). The community was horrible. The only people that actually liked me were the ones that bought my scrolls. Hell, I even had 15 minute conversations with people in Trade, and they tipped me lots of cash. I got all the cash I want forever. It's useless -.-. And actually, you're wrong about monsters giving no %. They actually do. I train at the very best spots. I actually learn from other MMORPG's I play. I explore. I find all the good spots then I train there. You shouldn't be training at a monster that gives .04exp per kill anyway. Plus, You never said about the amount of cash you get. You get tons whenever you kill the right monster. You will never go broke.


It's kind of funny. I actually saved my quests and grinded. People were like wtf, why would you do that? Um.. Maybe because I know where to grind? And ALL my friends had no quests at 24. I was smart and left some over, and I level fast enough. I don't even have to play all day, I can skip 3 days and still be back and level. Also, whenever you go back to town.. What I said. The monsters that drop good items, you will never go broke. You don't have to walk. You can teleport, that's what I do. And collecting items aren't that bad. They are actually easier, I like them. :). The community is better too.

Zer0force if your stupid enough to fall for a scam then you deserve to be scammed.. But yes it happens...

And you can be scammed in this game too and with the sso if you get scammed for one you also get scammed for trickster nostale and cabal. ^-^ way to go G&G.

And hackers can hack this game to because they use the exact same game gaurd.

And if I haven't clerified I don't like dg much but I'm not a fanboy of ms... -_- 1st, DG is not MMORPG, is MMO-ActionRPG.
2nd, once u finish all act (quest in DG) is game over. So the 2nd world are not out. (u noe the map left side? those are 2nd world)
3rd, DG are alot harder to lv then maple >.> not easy. u can see korea & japan player barely hit 8x or 7x.
