I figured i'd go ahead and make this here too...
I downloaded MS on to a new desktop and when I tried to start it up it comes up with an error, "Failed in Finding proper screen mode for gr2d".

Any help?

I'm guessing it has something to do with your graphic drivers? Or you have some sort of virus.

Open your maple story folder and find a program named setup.exe and run it, itll help you set it up correctly.

Are you playing Maple on your Normal PC? VMWare? Any VMs? Connecting to a server?

Cause it only works if you're using your normal PC. I get this message when I try and play it on VMWare. xD;;

I ran it, and it gave me the test for it, I could see the icon...I finished and it told me it had found the proper frequency, but I still get the error.

If you see "Out of range," then your monitor driver is either not configured right, or you're not using the right set of monitor cable. Click on setup.exe of configure folder to manually change the configuration to play the game.

Yea u need DirectX pretty much.
