Hi, i'm a Korean gamer who doesn't exist in Korea. I used to have a KSSN, but it was "erased" when i left Korea for the U.S. I don't know all of the details, but to put it simply, the guy who handles the information on KSSNs screwed up. When i was getting ready to head to the U.S., the guy who handles KSSNs was supposed to update/alter my KSSN information, but he forgot to do so, and now my KSSN is resting in peace. In other words, i don't exist in the Korean database.
I know that you need a valid KSSN and a matching name to play 99% of Korean MMORPGs nowadays. Now, obtaining a valid KSSN and a matching name isn't a problem, as a matter of fact, i already have a list of valid KSSNs and the matching names. However, i also know that using a KSSN that doesn't belong to you is "somewhat" illegal. So, i need some opinions from the wise. Here are my choices.
1. Give up playing Korean MMORPGs. 2. Just use the KSSN that doesn't belong to me. 3. Can someone make me an account with a KSSN that's related to you? I.E. Your friend's KSSN, Your family members' KSSN, etc. I know that this might be an easy choice for some of you, but i'm not a big fan of jail (i've been there for a very short period of time when i was younger). Although, i honestly believe that the Korean government can't/won't do anything to the foreign gamers using KSSNs that doesn't belong to them (at least to the foreign gamers in the U.S.). In case there's someone nice enough to make me an account with a KSSN that's related to them, please send me a PM. Well, thank you for your time.
