Hi, i'm a Korean gamer who doesn't exist in Korea. I used to have a KSSN, but it was "erased" when i left Korea for the U.S. I don't know all of the details, but to put it simply, the guy who handles the information on KSSNs screwed up. When i was getting ready to head to the U.S., the guy who handles KSSNs was supposed to update/alter my KSSN information, but he forgot to do so, and now my KSSN is resting in peace. In other words, i don't exist in the Korean database.

I know that you need a valid KSSN and a matching name to play 99% of Korean MMORPGs nowadays. Now, obtaining a valid KSSN and a matching name isn't a problem, as a matter of fact, i already have a list of valid KSSNs and the matching names. However, i also know that using a KSSN that doesn't belong to you is "somewhat" illegal. So, i need some opinions from the wise. Here are my choices.

1. Give up playing Korean MMORPGs. 2. Just use the KSSN that doesn't belong to me. 3. Can someone make me an account with a KSSN that's related to you? I.E. Your friend's KSSN, Your family members' KSSN, etc. I know that this might be an easy choice for some of you, but i'm not a big fan of jail (i've been there for a very short period of time when i was younger). Although, i honestly believe that the Korean government can't/won't do anything to the foreign gamers using KSSNs that doesn't belong to them (at least to the foreign gamers in the U.S.). In case there's someone nice enough to make me an account with a KSSN that's related to them, please send me a PM. Well, thank you for your time.

Zandigo, 제 이름은 아셔서 뭐 하시게요? :) By the way, i'm just asking for your opinions. If you think i should just stop trying to play Korean MMORPGs, then please just say so. mainpatr, if i violated the rules of the forum, i apologize. If any mods or admins feel that this thread has violated the rules, please feel free to close it down. However, i'm not asking for KSSNs, nor am i handing them out. All i'm asking for is an opinion. Once again, if you believe that i should just give up playing Korean MMORPGs, please just say so.

Quick reply from me. Keep playin, it's not like your stealing there lives or anything. Just don't give em out :p Don't be so afraid, many people use other kssn's, also it's not like they're gonna use their kssn's for any games :p

I want to thank everyone for their opinions, especially Yukinari :) I think Yukinari's reply is the answer. As you said, i'm not trying to steal someone's bank account, house, car, etc. All i'm trying to do is play a free game :p Yukinari, once again, thank you for your encouragement, and don't worry, i'm won't give out KSSNs to anyone

Ignore my second post.. pretty senseless. But i felt that using others KSSN is like stealing thier identity. :(

Ok lets make it this way. Your a korean citizen and you wanted to play Sun Online but when you wanted to register, you found out that your KSSN have been used by others. How will you feel?
