I admit ive played this game for a very long time, but ive always been annoyed by the community which is 90% 12 year olds and below, or at least their IQ is equivalent to one (worst community on any online game ive ever played.) Lately after the new patch there just seems to be a ton of laggers in any game i enter, at least 30% of the people in there have a 250+ MS which is very hard to stun and grip with my ninja if not impossible (my best type of char.) Also whenever i mention the word "lag" i immediatly get kicked out... Anyone else think this games a piece of crap now?

You imply there are is a percent range of 12 year olds. Do you suspect 20, 50, 60 year old people to be playing a MMORPG? Or where you expecting 14, to lets say 16.

Heres the facts of it rakion is a lag broken game. I have played for 6 months overall or more off and on its always been an issue and probably always will be. Once infinity comes out rakion might lose more players its community already isn't exploding with people. The concept of rakion is fun but the way they did it makes it annoying because all someone has to do is lag and you have to hit them 4 times sometimes to get one hit in.

This game is going to have multiplayer give the SP a try it comes out in octobor and this game is going to be the true MP sword/bow/magic game far beyond rakion because of its non-dynasty warrior gameplay/not glitchy. Imo this games combat owns oblivions.

I think more older people play online games than you think, i always meet older people on other games.. Never on rakion. I can deal with the lag if it werent for all the masters not kicking out laggers with 1000+ ms and not kicking people who request a lagger be kicked. I cant even stand looking at the rakion main chatroom before you enter a game, flooding, cursing, people fighting over whos better than someone else

Well, most of the people who play NOW are probably 12 years old but, if you've played rakion when it was a beta then im pretty sure most of the games you enter are 16 or old ( well im saying high lvl games lvl 31 +) I doubt you will find anyone saying noob in a 31+ game.

prob coz there are non in the high lvl golem games, ppl defend the golem and the gs, unlike in the lower lvl games. but i do remember seeing those lvl 40+ in boss, basic mode charging towards the enemy and being killed in like 5 sec... what do u call those ppl? if they are not n00b what are they?

I never said anything like the question your asking. I'm saying in high lvl games most people WOULD'NT say the word noob. Imo everyone who says the word noob , is a lil kid

And about them 40 + in boss basic, I think that a good strategy to do, since theres no point in defending your boss if noone atks the enemy's boss. If you die, you respawn and you charge again till he/she dies. In ways, this is a good strategy and in ways it isnt

Yeah theres an annoying thing in most every online game and thats people who are very cocky when they win/blame something else when they lose always. I usually don't say much in a game whether I win or lose. The problem with rakion is someone could be pinging 95 ms to you and your hits may not register. It is not just those with high pings unfortunately.

Lag problems don't relate to you its buggy. You could be fighting someone and everyone in the game looks smooth you hit that person with 95 ms and randomly for some reason your hit doesn't register I almost never lag myself on rakion but still people sometimes hit me and I don't even see it. Like I said the games buggy.

yeah true sometimes, but as we saw... they added a new boss mode, they try to fix the log in game ping problem... so as time passes they will improve the game,

but all i can say is that i havent seen that much of lvl 1-15 as skillful as they use to be, most of them play as a noob or just like a newb. well,i been playing lower lvl ppl, and i mostly notice that there's very less % that i will would be fightin someone as skillful as me right now T-T
even the lvl 20-40 ppl fight like a newb. Like this other person said, they just rush in and get killed in 5 second. i mean wow, what a waste of time of tryin to play w/ others. But i notice that most ppl play protective type of battles, i dont really like that but o well. itz funny how i can take on 3 ppl at the same time and still kill 2 of them. itz like, WHERE has the good ppl have gone too!?
I notice WHEN i join a game, itz just base on the lag. When i fight that person, he really lag, each time i hit him, he hits me from the side, and he only has 75ms. i still dont believe itz skills bcuz i really have seen ppl who can beat the crap of me even w/o lag.

People go up to you, you back up, person stays there standing and you shoot them, bam 1 hit, repeat a few times and they die.

you seem to not notice that archer is one of the hardest class to play. yeah they are strong and can take out guys quickly from a distance, but.... everyone hates archers... you will always be hunted, or ganged.... that is when you have to use your wit to dodge such situations.

I think archers are flat out the easiest class to play with, in mostly any game type besides deathmatch. Dodging is very easy when you have the archer glitch on your side. If someone goes straight for you, if you are at all decent and know how the game works, you can kill him within 30 seconds, as for getting attacked by 2 or more people at a time, thats already a good thing, allows team to team on other players and eliminate them quickly as you have 2-3 players wasting their time on you.

I like using blacksmith as I just get up close, knock them to the floor and them slam my mallet into the floor when they are down.

but archer gitch is not really a bug, itz happen alot when a person has 150ms or higher, as example, he will have 95ms but then itz shoot up 195ms for a sec, itz mostly mean he's laggin in some point. so, he will surely lag no matter what happen. i notice it bcuz when i fight high lvl archer, they usually have 75ms and doesnt shoot up on me, the archer doesnt even lag one bit. but when they normalin shootin up and down on the ms, then the archer will surely have a gitch shoot no matter what. How i no this, bcuz i use my archer alot, i normaly get 95ms and then everyone shoot up 200ms for a second. Then i notice i can do gitch shoot. That's how u do a gitch shoot, itz not really a bug, itz just the lag that cause it.
Bs's Axe throw is just the same thing, even though itz show 85ms or somethin, they will shoot up to 200ms or 180ms or higher. Then u no itz a lag.I believe the gitch shoot isnt really a gitch shoot at all, just base on lag from what i have seen. but i can be wrong. all im tryin to say is, they havin share connection internet w/ the house, which cause lag, i no bcuz i do the same.
all im tryin to say is, when u c an archer that has alot of kills, that person just lag, the archer isnt base on kills (only for low lvl archers) higher archer, i no that they r very skillful and no the basic of where to shoot. but lolz ^o^

that stopped because he's too in to madden and has 2 jobs

i played it for about the first whole month they had it open i was pretty good everyone was a good sport and there were no childish people when i played

but when i played everyone was calling everyone noob for no real reason, griefing, when i was a lvl 20 who only beat a couple 50s (not hard) i was kicked. I didnt even do anything and when i joined a game, the people who kicked me last time had their friends to kick me, .. really maybe it was just me who made the bad experience? but if you like the game and people treat you well then im happy for you, enjoy it.

I don't blame everything on the lag I get nailed by people who are better then me. What annoys me to death is smacking someone 5 times and not a single hit registering on them. Doing a grab on someone who is lagging also sets you up to lose a lot of your health. I don't think someone should have to test tap someone before attempting a move on them. Maybe they will fix it later on but they really don't have a rushing need to. Its not like softnyx is making a lot of money off rakion lol.

All ages play MMOs. BTW I know a lot more ppl over 20 playing than below it, I know even some ppl whose 40+ years old playing games like Ragnarok Online, WoW and Guild Wars. I’m 22, have a job, study and play, obviously I don’t have much time to play but I do manage to have some fun.

I loved the style of Rakion a nice blend between RPG and FPS but this game do have one serious problem: Lag. When I say that I say that the problem IS the game, I’ve played online games for more than 5 years now, CS 1.6, Diablo 2, Ragnarok Online, Guild Wars, EVE Online, WoW, CS Source, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and a lot of others and i NEVER EVER in my entire playing life had so much problems with lag in a game.

In all other FPS games I play I always get a ping less than 100, but in THIS game it’s never below 300, and that’s the same with the other players. I saw pings of 600 to 1200, WTF is that? Could someone explain to me how I can play other online FPS games just fine and in this game I get those huge pings?

No, I’m not downloading anything, neither running something in the background an I scan my computer every week for Spyware and such. But I don’t know why I even bother saying that, just the fact that I play other games just fine is a proof that the problem is with the game, not with me.

All the other games (FPS at least) host games on a server. The player's connection to that server determines their ping. In Rakion and other Korea games(and nintendo wifi too) it is done peer to peer. Which also manages to double the lag since someone can only be damaged if they are hit on their side.

I also tried this game and I am disappointed to say the least, once a low level managed to kill me in one blow as a blacksmith. Man they need to make it so you can check your opponent's health bar.

I still need cash!!! Sucks that I had to sell my account. Anyway, thought you might want to check this oloot site pretty cool. Sold my account at a good price.
