so i became lvl 10 and currently im a jr thief and i might've wasted my money i got 2 or 3 skills and bought another knife for my critical strike one...

Not really. Skills are useful and they make killing easier. This means more drops. So you'll get the money back soon enough. Besides you only have to buy a knife every five levels right? So it doesn't matter.
