Good movie.
The plot is really just an excuse to blow stuff up, though.
Character development is horrible. They spent too much time developing Ethan Hunt, which was a mistake. Why? Because he's already been developed. That's right. From the last two movies. You know barely anything about the explosives lady Zhen Lei (or at least, I think that's her name); and even less about the guy who flew the helicopters n' stuff.
The relationship between Julia and Ethan is unrealistic. C'mon. She gets worried about Ethan and starts wondering after just two days Ethan was gone? That's NO TIME AT ALL. Of course, I'd understand if she didn't know Ethan was going to go somewhere. But she did know.
Oh, and they should have shown Ethan getting the Rabbit's Foot. That would have been a cool scene, but they decided to leave it for your imagination. Take out the stupid badly-done relationship scenes and add in some kick-ass action where Ethan steels a plastic cube and jumps out of a building!
Otherwise, the action was AMAZING, and the movie was GREAT.
A must-see.
Unless you don't like action, and fighter-jets blowing up cars, and Tom Cruise running an entire mile super-fast (and by super, I mean super) and not even panting once he stops. Oh, and Tangos being blown up by really cool-looking gernades.
