Im still not 100% sure if i should be an assassin or bandit. So far im going for assassin cuz they have pretty kewl attacks and they're stronger. I mostly like assassins cuz once ur a hermit u get to use Avenger. So i need some advice on wich one i should be. PLEASE POST THANX :)

And even if you still have trouble, base it on your prefference. If you like the feeling of Haste+Jump+Shoot (ing) in the air pick assassin. If you like going up close to the monster and striking it pick bandit.

Or you can go BanditSin.:D

thanx and i think i would like jumping and throwing with haste, and with shadow partner it would be awesome. And when im close up i lose more hp and get hit alot.
but no banditsins are teh weakest of the three, its either one or the other.

Well, bandits level slowwwww until you get mastery and sb maxed but hermits are a lot better in my opinion. So id say go sin but its your choice.

hm, thats good advice. see i like bandits cuz of like this weapon i have, the cass, and id like to use savage blow with it, and i also like the dragons tail, and the skill for a chief bandit, assaulter, but the assassin is a bit stronger, they have avenger, and the shadow partner, but assassin is a bit more expensive, but waht is good about that is when i have TONS of money when im a high lvl i dont have to jsut sit and not use it to anything, and right now i ahve about 1.5 mil, so i could buy some kumbi and then a meba, in the next lvl. but i have school in a few days so i wont be able to play that much and i jsut like that i could have like a kewl melee attack for a while, and then get even more. but with assassin i wont get a kewl melee attack until lvl 70, but i guess thats not so bad cuz once i finnaly get avenger it will be PIMP like incredibley pimp, and untill then i can work on my support skills and get more powerful, so when i can use it ill be really strong, but if im bandit i dont get much power plainly, instead i get a melee attack that isnt INCREDIBLY pimp but still decently kewl, so when i get avenger ill be sayin "im glad i chose to be assassin" and it will have paid off.

but this is my newest and biggest concern, what if like a shadower once we can be them since we dont ahve the 4th job advancement in america yet,(i think) is like really powerful, and then shadowers are better than night lords? then i would REALLY like being a bandit. this is why i cant decide :( lol

My Bandit got old quick after lvl 33.

I have a Cleric, a STRBandit and a Rogue (going Assassin this time)

My Cleric is fun and a great money maker for my Sin. Once I get broed of healing Chronos I switch to my Sin and level it for a while and I have to admit - it is alot more fun lvl ing my Sin than it was lvling my Bandit. The jumping around and killing things quicly is great. Its kinda like my Cleric in a way. I was funded tho, so I was able to get 6 sets of Kumbis and 2 Icys right off the bat. It is rather expensive being a Sin. The money in stars and alot of money in Mana Elixirs. Mana goes quick when you spam Lucky 7 maxed over and over, but alot more fun than my bandit ever was.

If you have some money go Sin, alot faster lvling and alot more fun.

ok im kinda going for sin, and i have 1.5 mil, its jsut the problem is i was going for bandit a while ago and now my skills arent that close to maxed like my luky 7 and keen eyes, but nimble body is at 14, and i dont have that much luk, but that wont matter once i lvl up this next lvl ill be able to have a meba, but i think ill be good for stars for a while, and i can sell all my bandit stuff and get like 60k more, but thanx so much guys, :)

i would say make a cleric and bring it to level 5X-6X. then you can make enough mesos to fund your sin. oh, id say go for sin. its more fun. and in my opinion, throwing stars are way cooler than slashing. anyway, sins are for lazy people. :D

well i jsut want to work on this one profile, having to will take to much time, i could just use mesorich if i have to, and i have already. im not lazy but throwing stars would be more fun than slashing monsters up close, and i want to actaually use the essence of a thief, well ninja i guess, cuz being a bandit, its like im a warrior with a smaller weapon. but no toher job has throwing stars, the closest thing is a bowman, but this is different. so yea im gonna be an assassin :)

also once my hermit becomes a night lord, or i get bored, wich will be long time, ill make another profile and it will be bandit

however, if you really like long ranged attacks, i'd suggest a bowman would be pretty good. (yeah not on topic but i'm considering him another job).

both snipers and rangers have skills that can STUN and FREEZE, along with the great strafe attack, and the puppet skill.

ok theres a problem, see, at first i was going to be a bandit, and i kept putting points on doubles stab and nimble body and also mostly on dex. so i might not be that good of an assassin, i dont know, unless i can fix it by maxing my skills that i need to before i become an assassin, what should i do?

You should put the meba and kumbis in storage and start another character.

Sin's dont need alot of DEX and if you were to keep this toon, make him a Bandit. He will be VERY weak as a SIN with alot of DEX. And no Double Stab at all :)

DEX for a Sin = x2 your lvl. LVL 25 = 50 DEX or you can go the dexless route and stop at 25 DEX, but then you are limited to Common Clothing and Claws but with ALOT of high damage.

Start a new character, feed it money and pots from this lvl 27 Rogue you have. Give it the Kumbi's once you get it to lvl 10. Use you Garnier till lvl 25.

4 STR 4 INT ?LUK ?DEX -- thats what you want to roll.

Then put 25 DEX and the rest in LUK for Lvl 10 advancement.

Then what I did was just keep puttin all LUK until it was time for new clothes then added the 5 to DEX.

at level 45-55 clerics ca n kill master chronos which drops tobi
found 2 tobi in 20 minuits there :)

actually i got tobi today, so i have 1 set tobi, 2 set kumbi, and 3 set mokbi, and a spare dagger incase i run out, wich i doubt i will. but ill tell u my stats to be more specific so u can help me deal wiht it better:

dex:58
int:7
luk:68

so is that alright?
i can even add another 5 once i grow a lvl wich will probably be by the end of the night. so ill have 73. and by lvl 30 ill have 80 and 60 dex i planned it out.

ok i have a problem with this being an assassin, when i have a dagger my max attack goes up by 10 and my least goes up by a few, so maybe i should just try to be the best bandit :cool:

Offtopic: Please don't double post, you've done it like 3-4 times in this thread alone. There is an edit button for a reason.

OnTopic: It's true that assassins have higher damage, but sometimes it is really low. Bandits have stable damage, and it does go pretty high. Also, if your staying a sin, I suggest you sell your tobis and get more kumbis or a few icies.

Oh damn I just looked at your stats, you should start over before it will be something troublesome. Your damage will be far below average with that much strength.
