Been playing GW since 2nd day it came out and Factions the first day it came out neways im guessing u will have to buy it

More likely u will have to buy it couse it the only way NcSoft/Areana net/Guildwars Team gonna make money.Am Happy to buy the expantions of Gw.Its not like WoW where u buy orginal p2p and i think ur forced to buy its expantion

is called GOOD SERVICE.All who say p2p games are better than f2p can read this and shut up.They release one expansion and work on other while WoW takes a year to release a new one.

so yes you will have to pay for it but it is not required to continue playing guildwars most likely.

but yeah, you'd have to buy it for the same money as the original game because its a stand alone game more than an expansion.



I have been playing Gw since the first beta weekend and Factions since the 4th day because the damm shipping company didnt have the Collectors Edition in time.

i don't know why some idiots have to bash WoW to promote Guild Wars... Guild Wars is a good enough game as it is. Would it make it any better comparing it to WoW?

Anyway... you'll probably have to buy the new expansion. This is where Guild Wars makes it's money.

You can buy Prophecies or Factions, but both of them are standalone products, so you don't need one to play the other. If you have Prophecies, then you can bring over your characters to Cantha (the faction's map) if you want. I'm kind of curious whether it's technically a better deal to get factions, seeing as it has two more classes. But if the map is smaller and there's less to do, then the first game would be best.

Anyway, I have the original and Factions is being shipped on the way. I can't wait to play! :)

Good news for me.More to playing the game after completing so much.I love this service actually.I am pleased to see them working hard to make the customers happy.NCoft deserves a round of applause.They will continue to make the games better as we continue to expand of prvious versions.

Cause they put a melee character in in Factions.. i think they should put another ranged character in

haha squrril u had the same idea with one of my idea classes Spearman .That will be a top class that with high dmg ranged melee attack and nice ranged skills :D they should also make a summoner or someing like that or a shapechanger where this class can take fourm the shape of there enemeys and confuse them.Summoner well u can guess wat they do but have dif type of elemtale summons(ice/water fire earth /air/lighting)like elemintalits but in summons Ways...I know this game is not Final Fantsy or any over game like it with summoners in but just think how nice it will be with that class in...(My Gay ideas NcSoft will think of some nice classes for chapter 3 and any othere chapters after that if they will b any

if they would make a summoner/shapeshifter it would look way too much like Diablo 2 :P
