i dont know if this has been posted before. i tryed the search bar but nothing came up.
i was searching on the internet a few days ago for an MMO, i clicked on a link and it sent me to a site called:

it seems the community is pretty small so i thought i'd post it on here to get the numbers up. its kind of like a 2D version of that Starship Troopers game.
go to the downloads page and dl the "SETUP". dont dl any of the others as they are all old versions and dont come with an updater.
hope to see sum of u guys on there!

I remember this game from a long time ago. It's ammusing. Nothing too great. just typical arcade style you vs excessivly large horde of monsters, good thing thoes games never get old.

If this game had more people,it would be realy fun.I just played a solo game and it's very,very arcadey shootery.pretty much shoot it if it moves :eye:

1 hour later, SAME PEOPLE, im like WTF

That was me and someone from here called Entered (whats ur real name :eye: ).Fun as hell when you get more than 1 person playing in a match with you against 500000 aliens.Literaly,that's what we set it for XO .This game never gets old,because its so arcadey :p .By the end of the match we could not see the ground,because of all the blood.

thats basically the whole reason i posted it on here: i want the community to go up.
it gets kind of boring by ureself.

I downloaded the setup from the site,extracted all the files and it tells me my version is to old?I tried the update but it comes up and error message any ideas?

Are you sure you're using the update file and not just starting the game?If you did and it still wont work,try downloading it again.

There's something messed up when I play. My character is a dot and I can't tell what's going on. All the bugs keep blinking and disappearing and stuff.

What game is the powerups and skill names taken from?
I remember playing another top-down shooter with those exact names & icons, but I can't remember the damn name.
Kind of fun though, beast the hell out of this one.

I don't really care much if people belive me or not. As long as I just get the title of the game I'm satisfied.
Why would I lie anyhow? It's fairly easy to see that the powerups don't fit with any other part of game's visuals.

That's not the one I'm thinking of. It was a commerical game that was released a few years back. It had 2 players for one pc aswell, so I used to let my younger brother team up with me and play it. Frigging awesome timekiller really.

OMG this game rules, think of it as a cross between resident evil and alien. iam playing it with Seronx now :D

Just had a fun 6 player game,so much better with that amount of people.

I suppose so. It also featured a handful of diffrent weapons, such as the gauss gun.

Damn AMNESIA! I really wish I knew the name the that game.

it wasnt called Smash TV was it? i loved that game. it was on the Sega Master System. i culdnt get past the first boss tho :)

Woot! I actually found the game I was talking about. Its called "Crimsonland".
Like I said before, both the powerups and the skill names are identical.

*UPDATE* crimsonland looks a bit hard to understand. Walkover is basically the same game then, but for free and better graphics :)

looks really fun, I love games like this, and i have been looking for a good MMO Action game. Ive gotten bored of MMORPGs lately...I will try it.

smash tv is just like this except with aliens(maybe i havent gotten past the first boss) and power ups.

SmashTV shuld be re-released. it was an awesome game. SmashTV did have power-ups.
there was one sad thing about SmashTV tho, no save spots.:( :(

sadly, the community of Walkover has died/is nearly dead.
so until the makers get some more advertising out there (anyone reminded of what Adventure Quest was like before they advertised?) the community will be non-existant. :(
