stupid question but which is better? im still not sure

but it seems that 1handed swords seems to kill monsters faster than 2handed swords

1h swords since they attack faster.

2 handed because they are alot stronger but slightly slower but its no big deal considering the fact that most PvE people are skill spammers and 1 handed sword is more for PvP siince pvpers are mostly meleers and they pwn any str/int builds

I'm a 1 handed person. The one handed swords gets more hits and quicker, when the 2 handed does more damage per hit.
So when you're up against say a Red Illusion Archer, who seems to block well, you'll receive more damage with two handed and one handed will land more hits and overall do more damage quicker.
But when I'm on a rampage with some long lasting chi skill, I'll use the two handed cos more hit are guaranteed to land!
Also I prefer dexterity over strength cos all those spinny sword things look really cool!

1 handed swords are sikk booo 2 handed xD

It just depends on your build. I am lvl 49 atm and I use 2-handed because of the good skill spamming. And just to get this out of the way, Str/Int build sucks, Dex/Int sucks, you need all three. Once you get to lvl 60ish, the mobs do more dmg even with high dex, so you need dex for that. Without some str, you wont do much dmg to them causing a balanced out effect. It becomes more balanced around lvl 60 or so. Until then, 2handed is for skill spamming, 1 handed is for regular hits. Just my opinion of what I have experienced while playing, don't flame me or anything. If anyone wants to like party or something, (should be around my lvl) My IGN is Zelos so just pigeon or whisper me. I am in server 7 most of the time.

str/int is the strongest build for skill spammers.

dex/int is for skill spamming tankers no melee involved whatsoever( so no mounts).

a balanced one isnt too bad but it will suck in pvp.

its best to focus on one build rather than balance everything and hit like 500 per skill while some other guy does like a 700 with a skill

im a lvl 26 male warrior and i tend to put like 3 stats on str, 2on int, and 1 on dex if i get 6 stats. right now i have 75 str 38 dex and 45 int.

youur stats are pretty much melee stats( meaning u use regular attacks not skills) meaning you should be on mounts and such.
