Welllllllllll... I don't need them instantly, but I'll be needing them soon...

I'm writing up a 3D Space ORPG in C++, using OpenGL for graphics, my own engine.

Now, this project'll progress pretty slowly, so don't expect it to be out any time soon, as I'm still learning the 3D.

I had a 2D version going for a bit, but I decided to move beyond that and go for a 3D.

Here's the project's forum... it's kind of dead at this point, as I kind of let it go as I went for the 3D. But you can still see the storyline, the 2D screenshots I had up, and pretty much every detail about the game. (You don't have to register): http://s15.invisionfree.com/Project_Eternity

So yes, anyway, if anyone here likes to model spaceships or other spacey type stuff, feel free to post here. I can't really offer any compensation other than a place on the dev team, which at this moment, is really only myself (maybe one or two others from the 2D version).

I looked at the ships you had on you site and I was wondering if you had any basic shape you wanted the ships to be? (Triangle, circle, square, oval, so on.)

Right now I can only pen/cil sketch, scan, and post images of such, but if you are going 3-D then once I finished a sketch I could break it down into its various simple shapes for that purpose.

Umm... You're welcome? (I'm dizzy now) XD

By the way, is it like "legal" to use Google SketchUp (http://sketchup.google.com) to build models and put them into a game?

EDIT: I'd help you! :D

Why not use blender as opposed to google sketchup?

'Course it's legal. It would only be illegal if you wanted your game to go commercial, and if the program required a commercial license (I'm pretty sure free-to-use programs don't require it)
