damn, what an asshole

In 2004 Damageplan released their debut album New Found Power, which was given a reasonably warm reception from both critics and fans. The tour in support of the album, however, was abruptly cut short during a performance at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus: during the band's opening song, a deranged fan jumped on stage and gunned down Darrell, one of the band's bodyguards, an audience member, and a venue employee. The fan (Nathan Gale, age 25) was subsequently killed by a police officer when it appeared he was about to execute a hostage. By strange coincidence, the shootings occurred on the anniversary of the murder of John Lennon in New York, also by a deranged fan.

luckily he got killed (the murderer)

What the ****???

Haha when I read the title of this thread, I thought that Jakuza or Dinhodo posted something about their dead homie that got shot or something, cause Dimebag sounds a bit like a nickname for --- you know --- and that's cause a dime bag is the same as a 10 sack --- which is a 10 dollar bag of weed...

Plus Darell sounded like a black guy's name so I figured...

Well, I have never heard of this guy and maybe the shootings --- the anniversary of John Lennon --- maybe something having to do with occoult numerology...

When did he get shot???

I don't know much about occoult shit but I know it has something to do with some shit in history, for example --- check this out:

http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/wtc/index02.htm

And quoting some shit:

WTC Facts...

WTC Facts: The date of the attack: 9/11 - 9 + 1 + 1 = 11.
Each building had 110 stories.
After September 11th there are 111 days left to the end of the year.
September 11th is the 254th day of the year: 2 + 5 + 4 = 11.
119 is the area code for Iraq/Iran. 1 + 1 + 9 = 11, 911 - 119 are opposites - enemies?
11 11 polarity.
Twin Towers - standing side by side, looks like the number 11.
The first plane to hit the towers was Flight 11. State of New York - The 11th State added to the Union.
"New York City" has 11 letters.
"Afghanistan" - 11 letters.
"The Pentagon" - 11 letters.
"Ramzi Yousef" - 11 letters (convicted of orchestrating the attack on the WTC in 1993).
Flight 11 - 92 on board - 9 + 2 = 11.
Flight 11 had 11 crew members onboard.
Flight 77 - 65 on board - 6 + 5 = 11.

Also, try these:

Freaky deaky shit, huh???

Well, you know it's fake...

If you wanna talk about whiney people still getting upset about someone who died long ago, I suggest you go face off against the entire organised religion of Christianity/Catholicism.

They still get upset about Jesus, so I think someone still getting upset about Dimebag is the least of your worries.

I just think it's really lame how it often takes a death for people to go: "Oh wow he was great!", which often ends with the artist being overrated.

Cobain especially. Dimebag was great, but he gets rated much higher now than if he had stayed alive.

Well, Jesus was an important person to all of the christians and catholics..aswell and other people who go to church. (highly populated)

Dimebag was only important to the people that listened to his band. (lesser population)

Now see, Jesus stood up for what he believed for, and did something about it. Hence, his unwanted death.

Dimebag didn't really affect the world much (in a big way) other than his death. He didn't like..save the world from a huge meteor.

But hey, i dont wanna get into a big discussion about it. So im done.

So? If my Dad died I'd still have the right to mourn his loss 5 years on even if it only mattered to me. The amount of people affected doesn't mean a damn thing.

Jesus may or may not be real, so people have only been touched by stories of him. Far less credible than a man writing music, art, for people that exist today. Far less credible, but I still accept people's choices to do that.

Dimebag didn't really affect the world much (in a big way) other than his death. He didn't like..save the world from a huge meteor.

He did a lot for a lot of people with his music alone. That's a fact.

Jesus hasn't been proven to even exist.

I know what you mean, DD was ten times more famous posthumously. I remember seeing hordes of people going around with Damage Plan and Pantera shirts all the time after that, which is really a shame in my opinion. It's a disrespect to the man, people were only pretending like they cared because it was the "cool" thing to do, not because someone great had died.

It's wonderful that you're a pseudo-satanist that likes metal, but it's about time you wake up and notice that not everyone thinks like you, or wants to. The only thing you succeeded in doing with that post was convince me that the quote below very much applies to you.

I'm honestly curious as to where you're going with this. You're a "loyal fan" but didn't like the band he created from his days as a young man, which he is famous for. The band that spawned his entire guitar legacy.

So why did you love him then, if not for his music? His taste in plaid shirts?

dimebag had always been an idle for me since I learned to talk. My mom would let me listen to rock when I was a baby. So i was a natural born rocker. I would listen to pantera's music. Listen to his guitar solos and admire him. Two fateful years ago a guy decided to shoot this great man and killed him along with other people. I have no longer enjoyed listening to pantera because of this. It just makes me sad. R.I.P Dimebag and the other people that died.
