I played SOE games for years....but i had to get rid of it....i played Matrix Online mostly, 1 word: Godly....

i must be the only one who actually sees the new on as an improvement i mean really. Just because they changed the battle system so you actually have to slick more than once. >_> Thats SO horrible. Only thing I don't like is that you level up so quickly but it is still a good game and if your just ranting and you actually never played the new version. Go get the free trial then whine. I mean really has anyone here that has complained actually tried it.

i wasn't talking about you. I was talking about the people who complained about the update. I mean really you still got your old characters. Wish it was a little harder to level. So I don't have to see a bunch of jedis who started yesterday with light sabers.

I tried it before AND after the changes, and really wanted to like it. But nope. they ruined it.

1)all characters go through basically the same quests.
2) There are very few non-story uests. If one quest is bugged, you're stuck. peroid. (I was stuck for a full week unable to do anything but grind until they finally fixed the quest)
3)all characters are the same. no variety whatsoever
4)all non-fighting classes are dead. Before the change, you could make a hefty livign as a crafter, dancer, hunter, etc. Never again
5)LAG! fast computer, fast connection, 30 minutes to cross Mos Eisely on a slow day.

ok i admit its kind of annoying that they got rid of bio egineer politician and creature handler. But, there are still entertainers crafters and such. I do know that it lags alot. I do however like it. besides the point that everyone can run around with lightsabers. I mean I played for a week and got my lightsaber. I will not pay again this month even though I do love this game. But not as much as I love my WoW.
