I just started a knight and he is lvl 5 everything is going ok so far but I dont know what stats I should put my points into so if someone can help me that would be great

From my end, I'm not a fan of 'pure' builds but as it is in LC, your better option is to allocate everything to STR until level 31 (job chg). Pre job chg, dex has no apparent effect and even if it does at job chg, it's just a skills requirement. (around 15-17 depending on which class or skill you want to be).
