well, after weeks and weeks of my friends trying to convert me from CoH to WoW, its finaly hapening, the bastards won, so anyways,i'll be playing on Haomarush(pvp) realm, anyone on it? also, got any tips? database sites with info and such?

I could give a few off the top of my mind.


Don't buy anything (or anything expensive around until lvl 15-20 or so) from weapon/armor/etc stores. You could get better drops from mobs themselves or the Auction House.

Learn to spell Friday (:p) and thottbot is your friend.

Don't roll a hunter you will regret it when you cant get in any guilds/patys at 60.

Never ever grind, there simply is no reason to in WOW, there will ALWAYS be quests to do... if there isn't then you need to move to a new area.

Now let us review Alliance:

A) In battlegrounds, they do not know the meaning of the word "Defend".
B) They gank and then corpse camp, even when not attacked first.
C) They sit in general chat begging for money.
D) They sit in General Chat with such phrases as "lol hord is so shit im like gonna pwn this hord up", 5 seconds later "omg fuckin horde they ganked me"
E) 14 Year Olds.
F) At lower levels, 10% of the Alliance will Need roll everything and then bitch at you when you kick them out of the party
G) They have gnomes. I mean, what the hell was blizzard thinking.
H) 50% of the Alliance population is Night Elves, Have you never thought of rolling something else?
I) Not that this is a problem, but I find it strange, They say "LFG (instance)" in GUILD chat.
J) 40% of General Chat Messages are in Caps lock.
K) Most Alliance do not yet realise that Paladins are a Defensive class, not a run in and attack everything class.
L) They bitch that a Shaman killed them because they are overpowered, when they havn't been overpowered since late BETA.
M) ?? Automaticly means that they are lvl 60.
N) They call people lower lvl than them noobs.
O) A lot of names are such names as "Flameninja" or "Pwnnoobs". If you can't think of a decent name, don't make one at all, there's a name generator there for a reason you know.
P) A lot of Alliance feel that the aim of the game is to internet date with their "GF" (who is most likely a guy) then cyber with them.
Q) Male Night Elves look crap, stop rolling them and roll Females if you like their racials.

That is all I can think of now. The only thing bad about horde that I can think of at the moment is:

A lot of them are FAR to serious.

Troll Warrior, lvl 15 so far, loving this game, anyways, back to playing it. need to get to 20 so i can use dual Axes, yarrrrr.

Yea..Im 15 play allaince Pally & I rarely see any of the crap..but then again I play on a RpPvp server so..yay for Rp..& I know I cant DPS that good but you can build up for a uber DPH(Hit) if your retro (which Im not Holy FTW)

Of course most of the Alliance players that post on these forums are awesome though :p

sadly that IS true on my server. Cept corpse camp cause its PvE especially the word "Defend", but DONT be discouraged from joining the alliance.

My tips are, TAKE EVERYTHING FROM CORPESES YOU KILL!!! use armor if u get, keep ores if u get any, cloth is good to keep for bandage making and selling, sell the rest, most commonly known as "Vendor Trash" DONT BUY ARMOR OR WEAPONS FROM STORES!!! ONLY FOOD AND WATER!!!, there are GUARDS YOU CAN ASK FOR LOCATIONS IN MAIN CITIES!, DONT SPAM!!!, >>>BE POLITE!!! AND FRIENDLY!!!!<<<, DO INSTANCES!!!, TAKE ALL QUESTS U CAN!!!, IF YOU DONT KNOW SOMETHING ASK BUT DONT SPAM IT!!!, parties are nice!!! but dont party for everything!, >>>>KNOW WHAT THE FUDGE YOU ARE DOING IN A RAID/PARTY! DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS JUST DON"T SPAM!!!!, PLAY ON YOUR FRIENDS SERVER!! BUT DONT BOTHER THEM FOR HELP 100% of the time unless they dont mind!, DONT GRIND UNTILL LATE 50'S, DONT ROLL NEED ON EVERYTHING!!!!
