I know, I know. I've created two threads today, but I can't help it! I was just wondering if there was a MMORPG like Harvest Moon. There was Harvest Moon Online but I heard it was like, shut down.

By the way, I read the tutorials on creating an MMORPG, it looks complicated. I'm only 15, but I was wondering if it would be easy and cheap to create my very own MMORPG like OZ with graphics like Ragnarok?

An online Harvest Moon would be awesome. Pity I know of none =(.

As for making your own MMORPG, unfortunately, no. It is not cheap and it is far from easy. You could get a start by learning a programming language like Java, C++ or Python. It's hard because it takes some very advanced coding and networking understanding and it's expensive because you (usually) need a dedicated srever to host it on, or your players will get hell for lag. Typically your average gaming desktop doesn't have that kind of power.

You could try using something like Playerworlds or RealmCreator, but alot of the time any engine that lets you make your own MMORPG is not very good. Especially Playerworlds, it's generally not well liked. RealmCreator isn't free either.

Google ( Harvest Moon Online ) You should find something about an Official Harvest moon online. Created by the original creaters of the harvest moon games.

Well if you have a ps2, xbox(i think), or game cube (i think) I am sure its for ps2 but i am not sure about the other consols. You can get RPG maker 3. You can make an rpg in it but it takes a lot of patience because you have to be able to type pages and pages of dialouge without a keyboard, pissed me off and I didn't get very far but hey I am not a very patient person :D So if you want to try it go ahead. Ohh and its not free cause its for consol.

there's some harvest moon games on byond, 2d sprites and lag.. but if ure one geek.. you wouldn't really mind
