Altough i'm not sure what game would be the best to choose from, GW or WoW.
I need some opinions on this.
WoW, IMO.
It's a lot more fun.

Yeah, WoW all the way. Never even tried guild wars though. But it only has 20 levels and you can only meet other players inside a city unless they're in a party with you.
gw - mmo pvp
wow - mmo instance
you pick..
I definitely prefer WoW. You have more areas to explore, you aren't restricted to having to join groups to see others (You can only see other people when you're in a Town/City, or they're in your group. And there are also LOTS of different items in WoW.
Though, if you're worried about cost, my non-biased side says go for GW. Definitely a cheap one. Also, keep in mind I've only played the original GW, and not the Factions version. :P

imo wow pvp is also better than gw, theres no unbalanced classes if you know what your doing.

It's not even close, I've played both and WOW simply blows GW away. If you want to try out WOW first send me an email at:

and I'll hook you up with a free 10 day trial

I have both guild wars and WoW here are some pros and cons
Guild wars
cons
- !%$%! retarded amount of boundaries
-very lonely game when u leave town you only see ur party
-u get to 20 in a week and the best gear in 2 and the pvp sucks
-alot of loading screens
Pros
-only pay once
WoW
Cons
- its p2p
Pros
-almost no boundaries
-loading screens only when going into instances
-PvP is balanced and alot of fun
-alot more interaction between players

Not really, as long as you play in moderation. The game caters to casual players as well as hardcore.
I played through my entire senior year of high school and pulled straight A's for both semesters, as well as working 25 hours a week at my job :B
It's very possible to play WoW on the side.
wow is basicly fun on the PvP servers, once you get to the mid 20s you can can go to contested areas and kill players of the opposite faction. good times :p

I think 95% of people who play or played WoW will disagree with you on that one...and 100% of WoW's forums will disagree with it too.

WoW is unbalanced, it took 3 people to kill me in WSG today. I took out 2 of them before a third finally killed me. Now if that isnt unbalanced i dont know what is.
Depends on who was trying to kill you. If you were a warrior with high res going up against two mages and another class, then the mages would go down fast.
PvP is balanced, but not every class can take down every other class. That would make no sense. A mage being able to beat a warrior 1 on 1? The only way that's happening is if the warrior REALLY sucks at playing.

Hey Im Puertorican too, and both GW and WoW are fun games. If you are looking for a real MMORPG then go WoW. If you want an Online RPG then go GW. I have a lvl 60 Rogue right now on WoW.

A druid, warrior and a rogue (i think) were trying to kill me. I ran in used a few frostshocks (crits for 700+), killed the druid then the rogue, then with lowish health and low mana i died.
I can see a mage easily taking a warrior 1v1. I've seen a frost spec'ed mage grinding in ZG by himself. Taking 1X mobs at a time and killing them.

right well it depends on the players.... ive beaten each class and been beaten by almost each class, it is not inbalanced it just that those players may have been retarded 10 yearolds u dont know, dont judge the games balances when u fight retarded players.

Thats pretty much the case with Paladins. Everyone thinks they're underpowered. Really the players are just retarded 13 year olds that seem to think that Paladins are designed for offense. And no matter how many times you tell them that they're designed for defense so stay back and buff/heal us ****** it doesn't sink in.

yea ive deadlt with my fair share of retarded palladins XD......they dont realise that they only do dmg with holy shock and DO absolutley nothing with anything else and are designed for outlasting the enemy.
That is normaly true..but back in the good old 20-29 WSG days it wasnt for me:D
But yea...after 30 pallys basicaly become as support/healer still tho..people will play retro pally:eek:
