I am looking for a few programmers that are interested in developing a new online dungeon style adventure game. Specfically people in the St Petersburg / Tampa FL area, so we can work on it together.

Please email me directly at samleoncini@yahoo.com if you are interested. I have some programming experience and rather focus on design then code The more experience the better, although someone with beginner level programming skills and a strong ambition and drive is very welcome to join.

thanks

sam

PS: if you email me please put MMO in the subject.

Well, you don't really have to be in Tampa, Florida to work together. You can meet virtually with: forums, web sites, webcams, etc.

To be honest, the chances of you finding someone who visits the forums, who programs and is interested in working with you, and who lives in Tampa is EXTREMELY slim. I seriously doubt you'll get anyone...

As Naruto said, why not just go with a group of people you can meet online? Working through chat and forums is really not a hinderance.

I realize the chances are slim, but i figured it was worth a shot to ask.

One thing about working online together as a team though is the fact that people can leave without notice and it takes a while before you can get a programmer or whatever position to replace them. Living close by, you can contact them much more easily and if someone decides to leave you can get more time finding someone new.

But yeah.. it is still extremely slim to find a person like this though, as Eriond said.

Try CraigsList. You can find anyone on there, whichever the area is.
