If you set your own achievable goals, you should level faster. Since I'm level 58, and Tiger is back, I am going to pass Tiger's level -100, and stay passed it. This is just an example, you can test your self against anything. You could try being a higher level then everyone on Dragon gem if you want, whatever. Heh, I had a goal too... I wanted to beat my lvl 50 Xboxman friend. At lvl 30 i was like this is taking way too long... So i quit but i just came back like 4 days ago maybe reaching him

Personally I never set goals for the sole purpose of beating someone.(level wise etc). But of course everyone is different :hmm:

My goal way back in the old school days of Beta Maple was to get a maxed
Explosion. Took a hellva long time but I got there.

After getting a max Explosion I planned on dropping Maple, but as hard as I tryed too, I couldn't.
I meet so many great people and after I maxed Explosion, I have even more enjoyment playing Maple.
No point dropping something that I still get enjoyment out of, right?

Hopefully I'll reach my new goal in 6months-1 year :3

Setting goals works. I told myself Id get a black tube no matter what and I did in 3 days time. I told myself Id find a steel shield off the Ligators and I did in 2 days.

Just yesterday I told myself Id get a Colorful Tube drop before the end of August and I found it in just 2 hours!

ah..my goal is to get to 70 in the next school break which is in 3 weeks.. i hope i make it..(i probably will O_O)

My goal is also 70, but by x-mas (which I will almost DEF. make, since I hit 64 last night :D)

Before I was level...50, I want to say...my girlfriend had bought me these awesome maple syrup lollypops (lol, cause it had MAPLE in it, it made it 100% better xD) and I would force myself to eat 1 every 25% (it hurt so bad, because they were SOOO GOOD :p )

Mine is to get my Warrior - Ryggstabbarn to lvl 30 and my thief to lvl 30..
And i am gonna try and get my F/P wiz to lvl 50 within a reasonable time XD

It's good enough for me if I get to at least lvl50...too bad I'm not close to that...

Being level 5x and making a goal to succeed 100? A little too optimistic if you ask me. Sure, setting goals for yourself is a great way gain motivation to level your character. But always remember, in moderation... It's meaningless to be level 30 and then say, "I'm going to be level 120. Here I go!" -.-

It makes more sense to take it one small step at a time. This way, you're satisfying your wanting to accomplish something. Every time I play (when I have a significant amount of time), I tell myself to gain 20% (or however much I think I can shoot for) for the day. My next goal in mind is to set a day when I think it would be possible for me to level.

Once I can get an approximate idea of how long it would take me to level, I can then start to think about gaining levels. As of now, I'm at level 83. My current goal is to reach 85 in about a week. *knocks on wood* After doing this for awhile, I can slowly start to see my long term goal (which is level 90).

This New Year's, my goal was to have 50mil in the bank and to reach level 80. I've made both of those goals and am surpassing it. My friend thinks I can reach 90 in about a month. >.< We'll see how that goes. ^^
