Lol how many of you actually pay attention the politics of whats going on...like to be informed and actually care about what the canidates for whatever: Stand on(offer to change, add blah) :-/
You know what they say....15% votes,85% stay home and have sex
BE PART OF THAT 15% and the world is yours...literally
An intelligent voter is immediatly blessed with more power than the unintelligent or lazy voter who doesnt vote..

I don't see how voting gives you power. It just gives other people power and you only choose who receives this power. Politicians are boring people IMO. I don't see them do much. Only rotting in their office while leeching money from the people via taxes and such. If politicians don't rot or leech the world will be a better place by now. :D

politics is everywhere. politics decides how long your school day is and how long you have to go to school for. it decides how long you have to live for before you can be declared an adult. it decides how much work your parents have to do each day. it decides what clothes are acceptable for you to wear and what recreational activites you partake in. it even decides what makes you american. politics defends you and your family even if you decide all politicians deserve to rot.
politics decides how much you should have to pay to use the bus or the train. politics decides how much you have to pay for a pint, it even decides how much should make up that pint in your glass and how long you have to finish it. politics is everywhere, its a part of your life even if you dont know it. and for those people who are ignorant of it, such as yourself, i have pity for you. you have no idea how your state or even your home town are run, you also dont care, so no-one will ever ask you for your opinion or take notice of what you say.
you are another faceless person in a crowd blissfully unaware of how the real world works. well they say ignorance is bliss so maybe you should do yourself a favour and hold true to your word by never learning anything about politics. im sure youll be much happier for it and the rest of the world will appreciate your non-contribution immensely.

Lets see...
I've got various news feeds on my home page.
I watch the international news channel atleast three times a week
Read the morning paper
And my parents tell me about anything I miss.
I think I'm pretty well informed.

The Daily Show and Stephen Colbert. I really don't trust the media, and besides... Those guys make me laugh.
