I decided that after I have seen many reviews of XPLAY I am going to make a poll to see what everyone thinks of Anime brought into gaming. The thing is.. I think its a bad idea, everytime a anime is brought into a game it just kills the show. Overkill to be exact.. it hurts me to see anime to be badly brung into a game. Bad voice acting, limited amounts of moves, cut-outs, and even more... very bad voice acting. (Mostly talking about Naruto, One Piece, and Inuyasha.. I don't watch Inuyasha and One Piece though.)

By the time Adam Sessler even reviews any anime show brought into a game, I already know its going to get either a 1/5 or a 2/5.. rarely a 3/5.

Not all of the games though. That one DBZ Budokai was badass. I mean REALLY badass. Fun as hell.

Budokai was great, but they killed it with too many sequals.

unlimited sequels......

I think it's bad though I don't own a console so I can't play any of these trend anime games. I think once the series is over unless there is too many unexplained things they should just let it rest in piece instead of milking the title dry, if there are too many unexplained things then someone should make a OVA then let it die in piece. :)

I think that although majority of such games are pathetic excuses, there are some exceptions, such as the .Hack series, that one kicked ***...

Well for the most part anime games suck!!! but the few exseptions where the first DBZ Budiki and the 3ed DBZ Budiki, I have played all the other ones eather at a friends house or renting em, and all other ones have failed in my book.

Dragon Ball Z is an exception, its a great fighter series.. the problem is that when you watch original japanese subbed versions, its like its an insult to the actual show when a company terribly fails in making a good anime game. The least companies can do is try to MAKE it good.

So far 8 say is good, 6 say is bad.

DBZ? It was good at first, now its getting really boring... they really should stop the sequals already... =]
