A nice change from music, anyone like books here?
Who has read all of Harry Potter? And now... Who has read any book of the Bartimaeus Trilogy? ( Pleaseee be someone! ) Also state your favourite writer, and opinions on books like Pendragon, Eragon, etc,..
I have read HP books from POA to Half-blood prince, loved every single one. The Bartimaeus Trilogy... Boring in the middle of the second book, almost as good as J.K Rowling's writing in everything except the middle of the second, look up "Jonathan Stroud"
Pendragon, I have never read it and would like opinions on it. Same for Eragon/Eldest series, I have both, my brother read them.

favorite author: Terry Prachet
I've read Eldest and Eragon, they're okay, pretty much a rip of many great books put together, but an okay rip of them.

I already finished my book called The Finishing School by Michele Martinez and I was like wow!
Now, I'm reading 1st to Die by James Patterson. I'm almost done with it so then I'm gonna read 2 books at once. Which are Invasion of the Boy Snatchers by Lisi Harrison and my friend recommend me the book Speak.
My fave author is Patterson cause of his book Maximum Ride.

I enjoy reading, though I don't have as much time for it these days as I did. My personal favorite genres are Sci-Fi(love Dan Abnett's work), suspense(Jack Higgens is GREAT), and Folk Tales, though I'm not sure the later is really a genre.
I actually plan on majoring in English Literature when I head-out to a better college in a year or so(community college right now), I hope to become a teacher, and, if I ever get the money, get myself a PHD and teach college level.

Not much of a reader, But once in awhile I'll pick up a Biography /Auto-Biography about people with Drug problems to mental disorder's.
Also read Curt Kobains Journal, Marilyn Manson's Book (forget the name) Henry Rollins: Seen A Grown Man Cry now watch him die.
All very good books about life in general.

I love reading and I'm good at it but I never do it still. Anyway Ender series FTW! I read Eragon and it was good for the writers experience and all (he was 16 when he finished it) but it copied a lot from other books. I haven't read Eldest yet although I do own it. The book I have to thank for the love of reading is Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban. I read all the way up to Goblet of Fire and half of the Order of Phoenix but I quit. I've heard the Wheel of Time series is good so I ordered the first book too.
Also I own the first Bartimeus Trilogy book but haven't read it. Is it good? Btw you should talk to Xeno we're all around the same age and he loves reading too.

I used to read the Harry Potter series, but got bored with them. My personal favorite series is The Sword of Truth. Not going to tell anything about the series, but I reccomend it to Fantasy lovers. Author is Terry Goodkind.
I LOVE fantasy books, and I like Sci-Fi...that's about it. :P

I haven't been reading much lately as well (been feeling lazy), but I recently re-started the Redwall series starting with Mossflower.
I'm missing the newer novels, but I could always buy them.

I read a lot. I've read the Harry Potter seris 5-6 times, the bartimeus seris once. I've never really liked pendragon =], its not my type. Anyway, Lord of the Rings was good, and I really liked cirque du freak. Redwall was also really good..lol =]. I'm currently reading 'Gone with the Wind' for my 8th grade language arts class, and I'm waiting for the final Harry Potter book to come out, along with the final eragon series.

Lol I used to read those in 4th grade but I got bored after the third or second one. Also the Alex Rider series isn't very well written imo but I still like it. Same goes for Ravens Gate and Evil Star but imo they're better then the Alex series.
