my teacher in english was talking about cliques (groups, like jocks and popular kids, in case you did not know) and we're talking about goths and stuff, and suddenly she's like oh, a new one you might not know... emo. And I just started laughing. she's talking about them and stuff and I'm picturing the emo kid song in my head. she asks what we think it means and I said goths whoi werent hardcore and she said yeah, that's perfect... uhm, eah, just a random tidbit.

And emos and goths have similarities and differences, goths( i mean the goths that the music influenced, not all the metal ones) Came from bands like The Cure, Siouxsee and the banshess(however you spell it) Sisters of mercy all that stuff.
Im not sure what exactly is classified as emo these days, because it seems EVERYTHING makes you an emo now.

Im just myself, if you listen to punk/rap/harcore/indie, whatever. It doesnt make the person you are.

Instead of saying "You're mom's gay!" you now say "You're mom's emo!". Really "gay" as a deragotory term has been replaced by emo. Emo is a choice though.
