Most of the english speaking community in jMS is in Kaede I think.

Plus, why would you play jms if you dont understand Japanese? Wouldnt you be missing out on the big "social" aspect on MS? Well i guess you woundnt care about petty "words" if your a hardcore MS freak >_>

No i dont think so. JMS don't ban ips like other MS do. BTW are they in JMS or KMS?

In some cases you can get banned for speaking english, but it's rare. That's also why some people learn how to speak basic Japanese, and it's actually quite easy if you sit down and study it for a bit. Talking about KMS is not allowed, JMS is fine. If it isn't, that's stupid, cause JMS is way better. ;)

You've obviously never played JMS. Saying that English players get banned for speaking English is something called scare tactics. I'm sorry I can't make this any clearer~ YOU WILL NOT GET BANNED FOR SPEAKING ENGLISH! The only IP ban JMS has ever done was to Singapore. There was some strange patch where they banned all Singaporian IPs, because I guess they were causing problems for Nexon.

I've been playing for quite some time, so I can safely tell you that. Otherwise I would've had been banned a couple years ago.

I guess I should abandon my 5x Dragon Knight on Sakura, so I can come play with you Pun heh, it's kind of lonely on Sakura. You get the occasional english person here and there, but Kaedes full of em. That's why it's the biggest server. I do have some nexon points, I wonder if they're transferable to other servers... :/

Another point that makes JMS cool, you can trade items for nx cash. :P

i have many msn contacts that have gotten banned from speaking english and getting caught. you must be saying that just to get users to play japanese maplestory since there arn't that much english speakers in a foreign server -_-

Cash shop items aren't transferrable, but points are.

For starters, there are TONS of English players in JMS. Secondly, your contacts aren't being fully honest with you about why they were banned. No one has ever been banned for speaking English. Period.
