Trading/buying/selling fame is not against the rules in MapleStory, but it's not encouraged either. We will not be able to assist you if the trade did not go through as intended. For example, if one player pays another player for fame but did not get famed in return, there is nothing we can do for you. You should trade/buy/sell fame at your own risk.

Wizet says it on the official website. Fame wasnt meant to be traded. So if you trade and you get scam, its your own fault. Trade fame at your own risk.

It is hereby outlawed upon these forums to post asking to defame, or negatively effect someone, or someone's character/account.
Rule 1b.
As far as sympathy goes, you may make a post complaining about getting ripped off, or thusly scammed, but don't ask for help avenging your loss. You won't get any. OnRPG is better off as a community than as a mafia.
