Its a glitch or a hacker/beserk gm spawned zakum in every map and they closed the channel o.o... (you can replace zakum with high lvel monster or something) or maybe is just a GM thing like they having a meeting in game...

huh..well i've never seen THAT happen before o.O
maybe there was a bug/glitch or something and they had to shutdown channel 9

There would be level 175's selling ores.

Thats not technically true.
U can only make one leval and 90% u cant gain 2 levals in a row to be exact
so
Each monster u kill = 1 leval and 90%

so itd be like a lvl 50 selling ores.
