-THIS ISN'T GOING TO FIX EVERYBODY'S ROUTER PROBLEM-

Since I got my new router (around 4-5 months ago I believe) I couldn't play GunZ. The main server could connect to my computer but the PEOPLE couldn't. Everybody in the games I tried joining had 0 ping but I could see the "____ killed _____" messages and pick up health/armor/ammo.

Everywhere I went I always got the same answer when I asked for help: "did u r teh try port forwardz? turn off fire wallz" even after I made sure to tell the people I already tried that. I got a new computer about a month ago and I installed gunz on it in hopes that someday it would magically work, just yesterday I was bored so I searched around on google for the router problem. I found one of thoes junky forums that usually just have endless posts of people asking for hacks and read to change port 7700 to 6000 then port forward. I changed it to 6000 and whala, my ping problem was fixed.

Eh, do you know how to fix a problem where you have a display of 0 ping? I don't use a router, but I've always thought that everyone had for themselves a display of 0 ping. My friend says it's only me.

Unless I thinking of a different game (I juggle games sometimes), you shouldn't be able to ping yourself, so YOU, yourself, should have a ping of 0. If you want to know your true ping, then just ask for your ping by the players of the game.

I always that since your connection is connected to the player and not the server, why don't you just see the other players ping? That way, that ping is your ping too.

how dense are you? If you read you'd know portforwarding didn't fix my problem. Portforwarding DIDN'T help me, the gunz SERVER was connecting to me fine, it was each individual person that couldn't get through my router.

i have this problem where everyone has 999 ping and are all laggin in a place and it sais agent not aviable how do u port fowrod and what does it do can it fix my problem?
