Guys please help me. My friend lags a lot for no identifiable reason, and i really miss him on. He doesn't wanna play anymore because of the lag, but he's like wicked pro. If there is anything u can do to help, plz assist.

what type of internet does he have?

People with dsl/sbc have bad ping almost always, perhaps he has dsl? (Last person I saw with dsl had a total of 2000+ ping.) Some ISP's just aren't meant for gunz.

you cant really tell if you lag. i bet everyone lagged at least once in gunz

maybe it's just cause he's playing with people that live really far away (as in he's in florida and the guy he's versing is in norther europe). long range connection to other people = more ping = more lag

that's just a thought though...

ya thats right. when i was playing from london my friend in LA was saying i was lagging n i was he was lagging. either that or if he has dsl he's probably far away from the dsl office like those turtles that cocast used to advertise. i kno that their mouths moved was all computer generated. either 1 of those 2 wuld really help if u told us the internent.
