What all does Weight do and affect?

movement speed, attack speed? Anything like that?

makes it so you can't carry 2 big guns on you and kodachis, 2 grenades, and 2 rings, and still have all your armor. it limits what you can equip, but your speed and all that aren't affected. look at the weapon details if you want to find the restraints..such as on the launchers

i could feel no difference from when i only weighed 57 as a nub than when i weigh 99 with my rings and armor. besides..if you wear bad armor then you're going to get raped by sprayers if you're a kstyler..even if you are a tad bit faster. unless you don't get any guns..but then no SS for you o.O

Weight does nothing but limit how many guns and armor you can carry. I mean, two rockets with full armor [iron + max ap set] full rings and meds, best kodachis. That would be about 140 weight, and almost 100 ap...
Too godly. So, weight keeps ap and weapon attack down.

For some reason the effect wears off after a while (not player wise database wise)and it doesnt matter. but after a new patch and the like the Weight value really effects ya speed and people do notice but play it off as a server issue. The Weight issue has been something they have been trying to fix as long as other things in the database.

BUT there is still a small effect. for example I've played with some guys who use d-style and they move extermely fast way fast, people usually sya they are speed hacking but i got to talk to one guy and he told me its because he only carries 1 gun, a rifle to be extact. He also told me that when he uses a rocket and Machine gun his movement is slowed compared to the other.

So i tried using 1 gun but it doesnt work the same for the fact that swords and dual-swords have high amount of wieght. And i don't use daggers well so i wouldnt try it for too long.

So basically to sum it all up
If you using Daggers your weight will effect your speed
If you using swords it wont matter too much
and If you butterfly you will delay for a bit.

Eh? Whatever. Weight doesnt affect your speed. Thats why I have 100 weight, and can outrun my friends of equal skill when they ahve like, 50 weight.

i don't really care about speed since i don't use any of those d-style and junk. i only learned the BF and SS and wall jumping and FS, multi wall run etc etc just so that i COULD do them, and teach them to people who want to learn =D i feel that using all those flying around the air styles is a big waste of time. only nubs that stand there will get raped by those styles...

Uhh... TECHNICALLY, its a glitch. But glitches are problems that are fixed, no? MAIET announced that Kstyle is officialy part of the game, so it will stay.

Both False. Awhile back when the real gunz forums worked Venister him self confirmed weight does not affect speed, only limits what you can use.

Generally ,in my oppinion, noobs are considered a minority. Now, with almost 3/4 of the gunz community attempting to learn these moves, I truely doubt you could call all of them noobs.

Also, you must take into the fact that maiet has approved of these moves. In fact, they have made TWO maps where it would have been nearly impossible to play in if they didn't have wall climb. (dugeon, and lost shrine)

But even as I'm saying this, I say that there is no superior style. Its all in how you think it out. Its all based on the players skills and how well he can adapt to the enemy. I mean, heck, in a cw, sometimes even I'm foolish enough to run straight towards a reload shot.... but you learn atleast by fighting them. So thats why I like doin 1 on 1's..... maybe this is off topic..

It's true there is no superior style because if you force your self to stick to ONE style (like ONLY using the bug moves) you will surely die from somebody like me who will use what ever it takes to defeat opponents.
"spraying is teh noob!" yeah well my auto just owned you for the tenth time in a row and your use of dual shottys from long range while you mindlessly half step isn't helping you, at least you're accepted by the rest of the hard headed K-stylers though.

I seems many people think to K-style you can ONLY use the sword bug moves to fight.

and once again I'll say this, with out the bug moves GunZ would be nothing more than a stone-age shooter that couldn't compete with any of the other shooters out today. If you don't want to use them (probably because you realized you can learn and master them in a day) thta's fine, but learn to fight against them, don't do what the rest of the community does and complain about things you DON'T do/use.

Offtopic : Gunz is actually alot about tactics. Run, corner, ambush, run, corner, bf a little, run, corner, ambush. Its not all about skill with Kstyle, its alot about using Kstyle and other styles to your advantage.

yea that true...........test it out for yourself :D

weight does not affect speed what so ever. and if you think it does, make a video about 2 people, one who's light and one who's heavy, that both do the same routine of kstyling around the map and show me that the lighter guy will end up at the end point before the heavier guy. not going to happen. as i said in earlier posts, my speed as a noob with just 57 weight feels no different than my speed with 99 weight. so if you want to prove weight does something other than limit amount of armor/guns/swords, make the video or just don't talk about it.
